Book 3: Convergence - From the Embers
Hey there, heroes!

This week, Book 3's main story continues! With the aftermath of Jaania and Akanthus' departure from Swordhaven Castle, Queen Victoria is left to pick up the pieces.

Also this week, some bug fixes and adjustments!

• The Helm of Timeless Destiny cosmetic item is now available from the Time shop in Cysero's Superstore of Savings for 400 Dragon Coins.
  
• Fixed an issue where the Self-Containment Unit v15.05 (cosmetic version) was not functional against the Fungal Behemoth.
  
• Fixed an issue where Obsidian weapons of Doom could not be purified into Pristine weapons of Destiny in Artix's Purify shop.
  
• Fixed an issue where trying to visit another player's house would not let you type certain numbers.
  
• A merge for the Exalted Cloth requiring 10 Warbeast Residue has been added to the Exalted Armory merge shop.
  
• The Oddtog and Chaos Lord Alteon's body parts now take damage from DoT effects.
  
• The Shadowheart Bracer is no longer sellable, but is Dragon Coin tagged, allowing it to be stored in the bank for free.
  
• Eulin II adjustments:
  
  
  • Haywire Lance tooltip is now accurate (+200 Crit and +100 Boost, instead of +200 Crit and +50 Boost)
    
  • Damaging the Cannon Arm now properly resets the Cannon Shield Charge.
    
  • Cannon Arm's single shots now apply Cannon Calibration to Eulin, increasing his Bonus by 30 if they miss, and the Cannon Arm is not broken.
    
  • If the Cannon Arm hits, Cannon Calibration decreases by 15. (Max 300, min 0).
    
  • In other words, if the single shot misses, Eulin gains +30 stacking Bonus, if the single shot hits, Eulin loses 15 stacking Bonus.
    
  • When under 25% HP, Haywire Cannon now has +75 Bonus, unless the Cannon Arm is broken. Haywire Cannon also removes Cannon Calibration.
    
  • Reactive Armor (hitcount shield) +All resistance decreased from +50 to +30.

I wonder who Amadeus was going to compare Victoria to just now for not making necessary sacrifices. The obvious answer of course would be Alteon but if that's the case I wonder if he said that in reference to something Alteon didn't want to do in regards to Gravelyn and Lynaria.

I'm truly surprised that Brittany seems to actually be doing well now...still kind of anxious that other shoe might drop but for now I'll believe she's free from any danger and that Jaania's soul continuing to unravel was the only price paid here.

As for Alteon's and Victoria's reunion...can't say I blame Victoria for being angry with her father. We saw just how much stress she was under to keep the kingdom running as well as ensuring the Rose wasn't causing too much trouble and that was before the Proclamations opened up. What likely made it all worse was knowing the entire time that she never wanted that kind of responsibility and authority in the first place but the real kick in the gut that's got to hurt is knowing your father could have brought an end to all of that had they revealed themselves and worse that they were proud that you took up the mantle that was wearing you down little by little and one you made clear you would rather reject if possible.

At the same time I understand why Alteon felt that he couldn't reveal himself yet to oust the Rose with how things were and yet I cannot help but feel like it would have helped to maybe have kept Victoria in the loop just to know that he was at least alive.

At least we've returned so we can figure out what we're going to do about the last Rift and Jaania.

As for Jaania's flashback...those soldiers are lucky Draco never heard them calling them a tog.

Jokes aside, it's funny to me once again how Jaania claim that she was present to stop the elves and we were not, making her the hero of the story, but it's more than likely we would have been one the first to take on Yalla's conquest had she not froze us into a hero sickle.

Also surprised Akanthus didn't have his armor at this point though then again its clear none of the Rose had money backing for good gear at this point. It still makes me wonder though what it's made out of though.
