Hey all, I haven't played the game in nearly 6 years. Happy to take all suggestions on recommended equipment, what stats to train/untrain and other tidbits (e.g. quests).

Welcome back!

AQ has changed a lot in the past six years, and one of the things that changed was the ease of re-training your stats. Nowadays it's as simple as inputting the numbers and paying the gold, no fights needed, so the first thing you want to decide is your build. I'm afraid I lack the experience to offer a rating for an 'unsure' build

- FO Mage is the meta right now. In terms of pure damage, it's pretty much unmatched - though it may require some token investment for an optimum build.

- FO Warrior is second best. It retains steady damage over multiple turns, and Essence Orb misc makes nuking easier than ever before. That said, certain elements will perform noticeably better than others unless you invest in GGBs.

- Werepyre Hybrid has a really powerful Bleed strat which is completely f2p, but can get repetitive after being played for a while.

- FD Beastbuild has the best sustain and versatility, but tends toward longer battles overall.

Either way, a lot of work went into making AQ a better game over the past years, and I hope you enjoy playing it!

For build suggestions, honestly I'd say look at your armor and weapon list and choose your build based on what you like both using and looking at. Atleast that's how I do it lol
