Does anyone have a link to the thread where they asked for input about the Shadow and Reign sets? :O

Edit: Halliphax won't join me :(

The armor doesn't let me put the helmet on anymore?

Also, Iwished the armor had a passive Celerity still maybe increased chance with burns. Activating it with a skilll seems meh.

@battlesiege there was a thread here: https://forums2.battleon.com/f/tm.asp?m=22415593 but this wasn't staff asking for input specifically, more just players giving ideas because they wanted to (I think).

The helmet is removed, and is available as a face - apparently this is how armors will work now, which kind of makes sense.

Interested why you wanted the passive celerity - personally I feel the control over this is much better.

Wonderful misc! I would happily pay Z-Tokens for elemental clones and for other stat versions.

The new npc art for Halliphax is amazing. I haven't checked but if gatekeeper armor looks like that I want it.

I honestly love the set - burn eating in order to fuel a Celerity ability is an amazing way of re-imagining the Overlord's Privilege.

If there's one suggestion I have, it's that I think that the full-set bonus for the weapon's Skill should add Elecomp - something similar to how the Tribal Shaman staff gains elecomp when used in the Tribal Shaman armor. Even then though, it's still a very strong weapon and I can see this set being a must-have for offensive DoT builds.

Just now having the time to go back through the updated quest. I was hoping we could avoid L150 chars having to go through all of the tiers, causing the quest itself to drag out for no reason whatsoever. This model, must be banned to the Realm of Common Sense. Please..for the love of TheGhalin.



Love the Liquefactor. Wish that was on a magic weapon badly =\.


The armor is nice, and magic weapon is not bad.

The Gatekeeper armor isn't updated yet, but on page 1 Hollow did mention that they want to do that. Earliest we could see it is with the Alnaphar part 2 release, but that depends on time and resources.

As a heads up, folks, we're aware of an issue with the Reign misc paying for way too high of a STR boost, powercreeping all stat miscs and even all premium stat spells. This is pending changes when Kamui returns after this week, but rest assured it'll still be a really strong item.

So the harm burn will be reduced somewhat and the STR from the item along with it?

Have it be a burn eater to boost like how that lost knight blade does with panic and replace the STR boost from this misc with END which helps with healing used by other parts of the set.

- Sad that the face is separate. I love the toggle for helms... Gave you options since we can't so freely switch faces mid quest/battle. The helm looks amazing in the set.
- I feel like RNG is a major part of the game. With a lot of things being toggles and skills, it takes away from some of that. I do remember being pretty excited with triggering the effect in battle randomly.

Apologies, it turns out I was wrong. The burn would have to be very high to pay for this much STR, but it's mistakenly applied as if it came from a monster. That means that it's taking all the penalties for being a Harm burn, and on top of providing more STR than Buffalot, there's a Burn being reduced to 12.3% Melee cost and paying for an 85% Melee output in effect.

So many things to like about this update. Many of the items are fun, I'm a particular fan of the pet, it fits the archetype that heals and does damage at the same time and is very efficient (it should heal as much as FGM while still dealing damage which is awesome).
The quest itself, while there were some awesome bits I do hope there's eventually time to revisit it, it felt a little unfinished given that only one monster was changed noticeably. My dream would be it having a morningstar like gauntlet and each boss having its own mechanics, but either way I enjoyed the release.
Only thing to say is there isn't a reopen shop button after you leave the 150 shop. Very cool stuff all in all

@Grace - Whilst I respect the differing playstyle/am glad someone found joy in the pet, I can't figure how its supposed to heal as much as FGM? From testing it is not close

Armor heal got much better with a mentioned bug fix. It's so nice to see.

You're so right I read pet damage percentages and immediately translated it into melee percentages in my head. Right now it's like the Nickleclad / Copperclad pet and guest except it trades ~1/3 the damage, so the healing is way lower. If it traded half damage it would be more than FGM because it doesn't take the always useful penalty or the autohit penalty, but it does not. Right now I think it's like half of FGM's output, very roughly. Thanks for catching me on that

Reign's revamp has made the armor a low-key best-in-class beastmage armor. When partnered with some specific items, you can mop the floor with things just spellcasting using effect based weapons when casting spells. I love that they included the armor's celerity and heal effects (burn trigger)to work with spells.

I noticed that the Jester Armors are not in any shops and appears to be in limbo right now, I do not own it but I heard that they have not been touched.

The Jester Armours are in the Z-Token item shop (and still are). Regardless, they were not updated.

Very happy with the Visionary's Reignbringer weapon now that compressed spell has been fixed! When combined with the armour's Celerity effect you can get a sizable Burn applied before the monster has a chance to act.
