This week, the first installment of a short two-parter quest chain begins: Aiding Mortem - Stolen Souls!

Katia, Tomix's younger sister, has sent you a letter asking for aid in investigating, and hopefully eradicating, a strange affliction of the soul that has befallen her hometown.

See on one hand I'm delighted by the fact the Hero has finally met up with Katia in person....but on other hand I've never been more terrified for a single character related to the Danao family than I am right now so I guess here's to hoping she doesn't share a similar fate as her siblings. My hopes for this new principal, Saga, isn't high either since they have already undergone the process of tainting their soul but as long as they don't cast any more forbidden magicks they should be fine...ish

That being said, I'm intrigued by whatever entity has deliberately forced the souls of those that live in Mortem into the Plane of Elemental Spirits.

As Vaalirus has said, it's nice to be acquainted with the sole survivor youngest of the Danao siblings.

I speculate that - from the eerily familiar process of drawing a circle around a village of people - the spell that Saga has reworked must be Tanislav's Last Will. Hopefully the damage to their soul isn't too severe.

And I'm calling that either Secundus is involved in this somehow or it has something to do with the now free-roaming Shapeless.
