Bravo! Bravo! With this tutorial's help, I was able to download the GIMP! And, please try to make it a little more easy to follow, like, number the steps. Other than that, it's awesome! Great job, Neil and daykeem! ^_^

no sorry wolfy we dont really get much questions
daykeem i will be using invisionfree for the forums but i will have a homepage as well but im gone for the week
daykeem can u make websites because that would be handy if u could. use freewebs or sometin just on page as an intro to the forums then i will make the forums only if ure good with free webs that is

free web's aint really my style neil...
im practicly an expert in invisionfree bords tho so i can do that...
whats the name gonna be?

 Umm, need a little help with making a glow around text. I'm decent with GIMP, but am lacking that one skill. Think you can help. Judge me of my skill by my sig.

well, i glow by adding drop shadow...
set the offset Y and X to 0, 1, 2, 3 then set a blur radious to what ever you want and the colour and press ok
once thats done add the same drop shadow agian but this time put the Y and X to -0, -1, -2, -3 (leave the rest of the settings). then press ok. now, your text should be surrounded in the drop shadow but should not look like its actually under the text...

note: i completly just made this out of my head from experiance. if it dosnt work ill come up with some other idea for you...
