i need an idea, can someone help me please?

i'm making a game on rpg maker and i need help with the storyline. it's set in a fantasy setting. and it stars a 12 year old girl named kanae. and she has weird dreams. thats all i can think of. please i need some help here. i can't think of a real good storylinei need a real good plot

 well she can dreamed that all nice things but they turn to chaos and all weird badies appear (from the dreams) and well i dont no. . .

i hope thetodud posts. he always has somrthing loggical to say. he always has a good idea and not bad SHIN BUT I STILL NEEED A VERY GOOD IDEA A REALLY GOOD PLOT.sorry i hit caps lock by mistake

 im not much of a idears man. like my last post just to add on, in her dreams the leader of the baddies in the dream, his name can be Cain. and when many badies are ambushing her cain jumps down a saves. and maybe cain become likes her boyfriend around the start somewhere.

hmm... maybe (is this in future or pastish) they see some strange lights in the sly and a rip opens up then creatures from her dreams fall down and start to kill everyone (or absorb their souls so they also become a creature) then the main character finds a sword but is surrounded and cain comes and saves her and takes her to a military outpost where all who were saved are? (oh and to make it more dramatic her mom (or dad) should die saving her at some point.

Anyway, a game set in the past. Starring a 12 year old girl who has strange dreams? She could end up being a prophet, and the dreams would be tellings of future happenings, and they could start small, like a robbery or theft. As the story progresses, her prophecies would get bigger and bigger, eventually encompassing a world-changing event.

The parents dying to save the child is so cliche, how about being orphaned before it starts? She could've been raised by nuns or something similar, and when the events she dreams of come true, they shun her as a witch or a demon.

  • Drakonon
  • Thanatar
  • Mohandhas Khan
  • Korin von Skylender


Well, the last one might be more suited for a hero, but it would sound good either way.

thetwodud right scratch my idead off (parents dying)

maybe she will see just glimpses of the thing and then she sees them attack
also first level could be in one of her dreams when shes trying to get away from monsters and in end of dream she runs into one of the monsters and wakes up

hmmm... maybe in the dream she fights the badies and the boss because a while befor he kills a relateive and she gets revenge and after that she wakes up and hears voices... thats all I can think...

maybe she has a dream about the world being conquered and.... a prophet translating her dream... sends her on a quest to stop the evil???

hmm... maybe her parents were killed by the demon inside her to contain it and at one point she is told that and she can either save the world or destroy it... (that souds familiar)

perhaps she should be possesed by an evil spirit and is fighting for freedom of her curse. She undergoes moments when the spirit is in control and kills innocent people without her knowing. Now that I think about it, sounds like Indigo prophecy

Since we seem to be going for every cliche in the big book o' fantasy cliche's, why don't you have her collect seven sacred jewels of some kind and deliver them to a great temple in order to eject the demon, sealing it away for, oh say 500 years?

at one point she might find herself with a knife surrounded by bodies and her hands are bloody NOW this is strating to sound like indigo prophercy :P

oh and in it hes being controlled by someone else when he kills the guy (have to see demo to understand what im talking about

 she has weird dreams that something happens to the universe and she wakes up on a beach with friends and the ground caves in and she falls into a dark abbys and in order to get her friends back and return the universe to normal she must complete the 7 trials of chaos....... Hows that???
