About:
Well, I've tried teaching some mapping over YIM, and it seems to work MUCH better than tutorials, so basically I thought that every week or two, I could give mapping lessons over YIM.

These are some of my maps:

Staff:
Darklord
Dormedas-Intern (only knows indoors)

Next Lesson:
Sunday, 8 PM Server Time
Subject: Indoors
(Time may be subject to change )

Sign up sheet:
If you'd like to attend the mapping lesson please post your YIM screenname here and I'll add you to the list
(Im going to start teaching 5 people, if it works I'll try having more people, if not, I'll have less)
1. jayjaykirby (same)
2. Nighthawk (magicman4005)
3. VampireSlayer2
4.
5.

Also, I'd like to find out what time works best for everyone, so post here if you think another time could work better.

What is not to understand about 'drag and drop' with '3 Layers' ?

Edit: Infact its more... 'select and click' than 'drag n drop'.... wich is exen easyer

Anyone who uses RMXP for more than 5 minutes knows that mapping is harder than it looks, you need to know how to use autotiles, where to use details, you dont just make a good map in 5 minutes. It's too bad a couple forums members flame people without even using the program :/

That's a pretty nice map, I would suggest not putting 3 staffs next to each other, other than that it's a very nice map :)

As a matter of fact, i stoped using RMXP awhile ago as it is scaping the barrel for game making programs... lol... I map in 3D not Pixel art lol...

Also when i DID use RMXP I made my own Mapping Sheets.... instead of the lame default stuff.

Ohh, interesting, care to share some of your work? I'm really interested in this. The default stuff isn't lame, it's very well done, but of course, if you made better ones, I'd love to see it. RMXP is a very good program, accessable to everyone with a wide range of functions, fine, your never gonna make a final fantasy beater, but it's still good. Anyway, I'd love to see some of your stuff.
