The devourer is the absence of truth and faith. By not beleiving in ourselves we are destroying ourselves. We create the devourerer. So we also control it. That is my interpretation.

there is a face inside the moon, its nightbane, you could see it if you look carefully, also you could see dots, you could see truth, and then that moon seems to be something like the void.

Here's what I think are the avatars of the "Truths"

Death: Edward, according to Maxwell. I still think its Death.
Eternal: It's Eternal.
Peace: Aria? She doesn't seem to fight.
Life: Artix is a Paladin, and he heals...
Truth: Dead. Supposedly, Maxwell confirms avatar is dead.
War: Galanoth, his red cape is akin to red, the color of War in Greek mythology.
Transient: Zorbak? He's everywhere and yet he doesn't stay for long.
Lies: The Fisherman lies a lot. He's living a lie as we speak.

Theory: Edward is part of the bloodline of Stonerule's kings...
