Makkisar went thousands of years into the future from present time Lore. If you killed him in the future he would be dead in the past. Why? Because the "past" version of him IS the future version of him. There is no future Makkisar because he would be long dead. Makkisar, is dead and you will not be seeing him. Carnax, is free and his soul rests in the azure stone. I hope that clears up any confusion.

Could the azure stone be the relic?

Hmmm... well, I haven't read every single post in this thread, so fingers crossed I'm the first to question this. If transient means someone who is never there for long, could Transient's host be Twig? No, I'm not crazy, I just remember once when Twig posted in red, with perfect grammar speaking about doom... then complaining about a brainfreeze as if nothing had happened. But, Maxwell also said that they don't like Moglin hosts.... I'm confusing myself. I'll shush up now.

I'm sorry, but I'm still convinced that my guy is the champeon of Bacon on Lore- fear his might: Fear his power- Fear his super squeeking! SQUEEEKKK!!

Anyway, I don't think the Azru stones are 'le relics. Seriously- 'Oh no, Death has a magical stone made to weaken a enemy that no longer exists! Whatever shall we do?'

I'd like to bring my theory that Death actually wants Warlic's globe back again. Seriously- if you watched Lord Oranos' Moglified you'll see that that globe has the awe-inspiring power to make NPC's into human sheilds.

Orly? The devouer can be anything check the L.O.R.E. book and legend shows that Devourer came to L.O.R.E. Ages ago before we were there. But the Drakel were there when the Devouer attacked with some other races we were not there. Once it's done and full it will move on and consume the next planet. Personally I haven't seen my character gone to another planet only in time.

The drakel do. Their race were there when the Devourer attacked ages ago. But the Devourer can be anything at all. A big gaint smoking cloud a scorpion anything my guess is that Truth is working for the Devourer and being his eyes and his personal killer. Trith mentioned that they was coming the faceless ones and nothing could save us from Oblivion.

the Devourer is just a huge puddle of mass, a shapeshifter, he appeared as a child first time (and he isn't coming, his mercenery is, otherwise we couldn't travel 1000 yars in the future now could we)

the devourer took a the form of a child but the devourer it self is a some super big mass the evil brother of the creater...as the 8 realms have their equal oppisite as of the creater does too

as the creater had made the realms and worlds etc etc the devourer feeds on the destuction of all that was created...
