Lexaeus watched from the Earth as the evil one was finally defeated. An evil greater than one could imagine had been vanquished. But it would never truly be over. Lexaeus saw the mask come from it's wearer, now stripped of his power. Freed also from the curse, the man asked if he was truly free of the mask's devastation, seconds before the evil masks's power destroyed him. Lexaeus emerged from the now-healed Earth, but as he went to destroy the mask and end it's evil forever, he realized it was gone. But the battle was over. The Gods had chosen their champions. And Lexaeus knew he had not been worthy of standing amongst them. But he had not failed his mission. He knew it was another's fate to be the Earth Lord's champion. But Lexaeus's mission had succeeded. He had defeated an evil capable of destroying the world itself, and had paved the path for his Champion to become the Saviour of the Earth. He walked to the fire mage, Axel. "Well, Axel. I guess you and me have unfinished business, then." He said to the sleeping warrior. "Take this. Keep it as a reminder of what we fought here today. And keep it as a reminder that someday, someway, we will finish this. Goodbye, Axel." He said, throwing one of the clown's illusion roses onto Axel's chest. As Lexaeus left the arena, exhausted, he wondered-what would happen to him now. But he knew his immediate answer. Now, he would join his comrades in arms, the other servants of the Earth kingdom, in watching in awe the great battle of his time. It was time to rest. Lexaeus's part in this conflict was over. It was time for him, finally, to watch. As the final battle grew closer, Lexaeus walked to the center of the three new arenas, erected around the old one. There it was. The original arena. Lexaeus walked toward it's massive structure with a new resolve.
