mmm again I state its inposable to crack, ive run it fowards and backwards though displacements of 1-25(26 is returns to start). I can get one or two words in a line then the rest is gibberish.

posabilitys
1. not the right cypher method
2. mistake on seekers part
3. each word has its own cypher
4. more then one cypher is used.
5. not in english (in which case we'll need a linguist).

heh if its useing the same cypher as kyptos block 4 were screwed.

good luck to all the fellow cyptographers out there.

He gave us hints. The Iulius Caesar referred the possibility of the entire thing being a Caesar block to me. Caesar blocks were used to transmit data across lines through the Roman Army without the enemy being able to crack it. I have not checked this out yet however, as I have not had the time to put everything into squares.

Using a Caesar cipher and remembering the clues it can be decoded although much of the language is nonsensical there is a definite story that can be understood. Here is a link you may find useful http://www.secretcodebreaker.com/caesar.html

I applied the Caesar cipher with a multiplier of 13. My guess is now I need to apply the alberti disk.

http://www.cs.trincoll.edu/~crypto/historical/alberti.html

My guess is I am really gonna hate doing this one by hand.

DOUBLE EDIT: Ok, I am not sure I am gonna end up doing this in the right order, so the possibilities so everyone else keeps up are these:

Reverse alphabet: Implied by the backwards clock - 3

Alberti Disk: Implied by the alberti disk. -2

Caesar Cipher: Implied by the head of Caesar. - 1

That means the options are:
321
312
213
231
123
132

Six options for the decryption of this message.

It would be nice to have 5 other people handle five different facets of the possible decryption to maximize the efficiency of the process. Thanks in advance! Right now, I am going to do the process 123, and I already finished 1, as you saw above.

AND BURBLED AS IT CAME! CAME WHIFFLING THROUGH THE TULGEY WOOD, THE JABBERWOCK, WITH EYES OF FLAME, AND, AS IN UFFISH THOUGHT HE STOOD,

HE WENT GALUMPHING BACK HE LEFT IT DEAD AND WITH ITS HEAD THE VORPAL BLADE WENT SNICKER-SNACK! ONE, TWO! ONE, TWO! AND THROUGH AND THROUGH

HE CHORTLED IN HIS JOY O FRABJOUS DAY CALLOOH CALLAY COME TO MY ARMS MY BEAMISH BOY AND HAS THOU SLAIN THE JABBERWOCK

The Jabberwocky anyone?

It's from Through the Looking-Glass and What Alice Found There by Lewis Carrol.

Here's a link.

Or, google "Jabberwocky" and you'll find it.

`Twas 4 PM, and the slimy badger-lizard-like creatures
Did spin and made holes in the garden plot round the sundial:
All flimsy and miserable were the shabby looking birds,
And the mome green pigs bellowed.

"Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch!"

He took his vorpal sword in hand:
Long time the manxome foe he sought --
So rested he by the Tumtum tree,
And stood awhile in thought.

And, as in uffish thought he stood,
The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,
Came whiffling through the tulgey wood,
And burbled as it came!

One, two! One, two! And through and through
The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!
He left it dead, and with its head
He went galumphing back.

"And, has thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!'
He chortled in his joy.

`Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

I AM WORKING ON APPLYING HUMPTY DUMPTY'S EXPLANATION

Ok, so Lewis Carrol made the words by combining other words. His explanation of doing this can be found here:

A clue with multiple meanings one of which is that clues (words) have multiple meanings. (How many saw that one coming?)

Other possible clues:
The Jabberwock (The'galin, Uncreator) is coming so beware.
Other monsters (agents) abound including the Jubjub bird and Bandersnatch.
And, "brillig" is typically defined as four o'clock--perhaps something is happening at that time. (But, we don't know to which four o'clock the Seeker is referring.)

I don't know if anyone has noticed this, but if you run one of the codes through a base-64 translator. The translator links you to a web site, and if you wait long enough something pops up. It mentions to follow the white rabbit, which reminds me of alice in wonderland. Also, the new quest name?

Queen of Hearts?
Follow the White Rabbit?
Coincidence?

Sorry if this is obvious, I haven't been in for a while...

I think we should all join NOVA. Apparently they know more then us and if them brainwashing us is the only way then we must sacrifice our souls to gain the information then before were zombies give that info to others.

Ok, fill me in. So is NOVA in real life, or in the game? Like is their a real organization in real life, or is it just something in the game for the mystery?
