Since I'm sure Rimblade has a biased opinion in this matter (or that he may not be candid due to fear of reprisal from certain circles), I'm addressing my question to Mr. Flibble:

Do you believe the fact that the DF Rogue skills Poison, Aimed, Blind and Surprise do less damage on average with daggers than with the sword equivalents is an oversight on the part of the developers (who are unaware of it), or an intentional design choice?

And now for Rimblade:

If DF offered a quest in which you could slaughter massive numbers of Sneevil orphans, who each had 2 health and always missed, but who each gave 500 xp, and 20 gold... would you farm that quest like crazy?
