I just saw Alien v Predator, and when they first made it to the whaling station i sware it said zorbak on the wall. Freaky!

I found out what St. Elmo's Fire is based on (other than a certain Elmo <_<). St. Elmo is the patron saint of sailors. Some sailors experience bizarre electric discharges on the hulls of their boats when going out to sea, which make the ship look like it is surrounded in blue flame. They believe that St. Elmo creates these electric formations, and that this is a sign of protection from St. Elmo.

Recently, Lord Arrgthas has come to Lore. From what I heard, he was a WoW referance of some sort. I don't understand this, I do think it has to relate with Arthas, the current LichKing from Warcraft, atleast, that's who he became to be at the end of FT. Infact, there's just an extra "rg" to the spelling... I don't know where that comes from though.

 MechQuest's winter event is going to center around the ice planet Thoh. Switch the T and the first h, reverse it, and you get Hoth, which, for those who don't remember, was the ice planet setting for the first part of Empire Strikes Back. And since no one has done this yet:

 I think that the premise of MechQuest and Adventure Quest is just like the Horseclans,in the sense that the people in AQ are actually the descendants of the MQ folk and technology was degraded to the Middle Ages.

Dunno if this is old stuff, but:

  • Shield- BlowOut Shield= Has nothing to do with the movie. Nvm, it's related.
  • Pet- Ebil Toys= Again, has nothing to do with the movie.
  • Misc- Bar of Soap= The kid said a cuss word (fudge), so he ended up with a bar of soap in his mouth. Another similarity is that the BoS makes the enemies lose BtH. In the movie, the kid day dreams that he ggoes blind because of Soap Poisoning, just to see his parents upset after the major incident. It never happens, of course.
  • Spell-Major Award= This gave it all away. The dad of the main char gets this for winning something, and he calls it his major award. It looks exactly the same, too.

    Lol, I only know this because our teacher put this movie on for the last day of school 'till Winter Break. ^_^ I wonder if the AQ team will do another major pun for the GB this year...

    		In MechQuest, the new mecha's head (Steel Lotus) is taken from the film Blades of Glory. The Steel Lotus is a skating move which if you get wrong your partner gets decapitated.

    		I doubt a lot of people noticed, but the Flatasaurus pet in DF and the Angry Zug monster in AQ appear to be the same creature.

    It was the description that rung a bell, and a quick image check confirmed it.

    		Nobody's mentioned the 2 Ninja Turtledoves yet...reference to the Teenage Mutant "Ninja Turtles" and the song, "The 12 Days of Christmas" (On the second day of Christmas my true love gave to me, two turtledoves and a partridge in a pear tree).

    Uh,lol.sir Anos war cry was about leeroy jenkins?I guess he's crazy like this guy.There was someone shouted:"LEEROY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!JENKINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.He was playing something with his pro friends.He keeps thinking about charging with his friends.(The someone is crazy about the zombies 'cause he wanted to kill the zombies with his friends but he gone by himself.Left him while staying at the safe building.And he 'came a zombie.His playing the zombie mod.The game is cs or counter strike.)

    		 It means there is nothing original. There are so many things out there that nothing is completely new. Everything has been done before. This thread is for bringing up things in AE games that have been done before by other sources, whether they were intentional, unintentional, parodies, or references.

    		Does anybody else notice all the references in the Thunderhammer quest that are from Dr. Horrible's Sing along blog? Dr. Boltavolt is Billy or Dr. Horrible, Selina is penny, and Thunderhammer is Captain Hammer!! The Scenes also have quite a bit of the same dialog like when Dr. Boltavolt says You Stupid DolT! You couldve killed her! Then Selina Thanks Captain hammer and then he says A mans gotta do what a mans gotta do which is also a song from Dr. Horrible's sing along blog. Anybody else want to confirm?

    		In the recent Elemental War in Dragonfable, Warlic's quote "We all float there", could that possibly be a reference to Steven King's It? In which the clown says "We all float down here."

    		 Zeuster Quest line in DF seems like the twelve missions Heracles had to perform. 1 kill a lion 2 clean the stables 3 capture the hind I don't remember the rest, except going into the underworld. I think that one had to do with Cerebus.
