Why did you name your (I assume this at a risk) main AQ and DF characters Deus Ex Machina: is there a special attachment you have to the phrase?
Yeah, they're my mains. The webcomic's not exactly PG-13, but the short answer is that the scary little devil girl has no idea how to become a demigod, and decides to summon Deus Ex Machina to find out how. Big explosion, no summon, but she did find a book that leads to the goal. I don't know why, but I couldn't stop laughing. I wanted it as my login name, but someone took it.
I'm fond of that phrase too, in theatric and more contemporary instances, and my favorite web comic uses it not once, but twice.
You read DD too?! Isn't it sad how Mookie broke up with his GF?! *sniff*
