Drop craftable items from npcs? or in pvp just something to grind for , because there really isnt much to do in this game

There was something like this back in Delta I believe. PvP battles would drop broken items that could be restored for credits, but I guess that feature was taken away; not sure why, but there is always the arcade.

It was taken away because when omega came along all the varium items you could get by repairing said items became available to all for credits or varium. In other words there was no point to keeping a Varium feature for items you could buy for credits.

^Is it? Didn't it get turned into the Assault Bot P or something like that?

Edit: Yup. It did turn into Assault Bot P. Basically it got a damage buff, the rust was removed and it got renamed.
