How long does Seahawk take to check his inbox regularly? Sorry, Patience isn't my Strong suit.

What files cannot be used for Avatars?

As for the first, it would depend on his real life. He's a busy guy, so I'd just say to wait between 3-7 days or something.

As for the second, all files must be in .jpg. Otherwise, they're too big in file size.

@Random...I tried JPEG but even when I set it to low, it wouldn't go under 14K.

My Dad, an expert on Photoshop, found me a different file which put it to 8K

So.........

@liy010: random fun 12 was incorrect in saying that the files must be .jpg They may also be in .gif

quote:

Avatars are now being sent to Seahawk.
The rules are as follows:
1. Avatars MUST be AE related.
2. Avatars have to follow the regular avatar rules. 95 X 95 pixels and no larger than 10K, NO ANIMATIONS. .jpg or .gif only
3. Please PM avatars to me in bunches of 5 to 10. I might consider uploading less, but I will not upload more. All avatars must be in the same PM.
4. Do not PM me multiple times to ask when your avatars will be uploaded. Sometimes they are done in batches which means it may take longer than expected.
5. Please PM me your submissions. I don't want to receive emails about this.

Please note that any avatars submitted become the property of Artix Entertainment and as such could be used in advertising or on the web pages.

From the FAQ

Personally, I find saving the pictures to .gif files kills the quality too much for my liking. I found this JPEG reducer online that will reduce the file size of your .jpg file at different rates from only slightly reduced to minimal file size. I find this helpful in getting my custom avvies to fit under 10kb while optimizing their quality.

Just checked and found it was gif.

Thanks ^_^
