yes, good job devs. but i couldnt help but to be sad because the new weapons will be promotional offers. its very hard for us to buy the 10k varium package because its very expensive on our Country. i just really hope the weapons will be available in-game because anyway, i just need 1 frost weapons and thats the staff. i dont need the club or the claws because im a mage and i can't equip daggers or club right??. i hope i made my self clear here.

They're energy. We already have the OPed physical gear, time for energy.
@above: It's a mutating weapon. Hence, it only takes one spot. It switches to your class. Like...founder armor, for example.
@frost I just switched from cyber hunter...

@above: Dude it's a mutating weapon it will be whatever depending on your class, a staff in your case. Hopefully it will be available ingame (it should).

@above. yeah i know, im just trying to to make a point here. definitely, not all players need mutating weapons because not all players had change their original class. take for example fay bee or donna matrix. they definitely need only the claws right??

Beta had 4 weapons.

Claws, A staff, and a maul. And a sword

This one has everything except a sword. Its essentially 3 weapons in one and takes less bagspace

@Buffy well, it's quantity vs quality. When we got the founder/beta gear, that was kind of an award for being founders. Now they're just promotionals with no historic value, so to speak.

Well, obviously, since this game is so much more popular and amazing then it was back then, they don't need to dangle massive bundles of rewards in your face to make you buy varium. Now that ED is all grown up and full of useful new features we can spring for more realistic promo packages. I mean really, we're already getting so much bang for the buck, how could you even think of asking for a larger promo package?

Have you guys ever thought about doing sales instead of promos? Slashing some of the in game varium prices for certain holidays (Black Friday / Cyber Monday, etc)
This means that instead of spending $50 a month, you can spend $50 to get the current "testing" (hah... this is going to be in testing longer than minecraft) phase weapons, and the varium from that $50 to either buy things, or wait for a sale.

 @Laces, 7245 for me :/

At first glance at the weapons, i was not not too sure which of the larger weapons was actually the club/maul. The size is a bit deceiving.

If these are weapon promos for Christmas, what about the rare weapons for Christmas as well? Don't tell me it's FrostBane back again. There should be something else than that.

The maul and staff are nice, but the claws look ugly. i would make them a beautiful weapon and not that rugged snag.
and there is no sword...
