A List of SC Features, Equipment, and Benefits (Incomplete)

Introduction


The Purpose of this guide is to provide a full list of the benefits of upgrading your Mechquest account to a Star Captain. This guide will effectively show the reason to upgrade to SC. Keep in mind that everything on this guide can be unlocked for one measly payment of 19.95 USD*. Upgrading your account to Star Captain allows you to play more missions, access more weapons, perform SC-only specials, use more Mechas, take part in planet previews, and much much more. The Idea for this guide was taken from this guide, formerly by Crimzon5.

This guide will be updated and changed periodically as more and more SC Features are added/removed.

*This is the payment amount in United States Dollars. Other Countries will place different values based on the rates of inflation and the numerical order of their bills. For example, 19.95 USD is approximately 15.1159 Euros, the common currency of the European Union.




A List of SC only Features



  • The ability to perform powerful SC-only Specials on certain mechas.
  • Ability to access the all the SC Extreme Challenges
  • The Ability to purchase Star Captain Monthly Mechas
  • 25% more Credits and Experience, per fight, allowing players to level up and earn more money than their Non Star Captain counterparts.
  • The Ability to access the following Galactimecha Fights

  • The Ability to repaint Color Customizable Mechas
  • No Charge to fly to planets
  • The ability to fight in Hard and EXTREME modes
  • Take part in the occasional SC Preview of newly released Planets
  • The ability to save your mecha's build so you don't need to re-equip your mecha every single game session.
  • The ability to save your uniform.
  • In AQW: Access to all the items in the Star Captains Shop
  • The ability to access more powerful energy blades.
  • +5 to rolls for SC's
  • The Ability to play SC Only Missions during Wartime events. SC Missions can yield large amounts of credits and experience when completed
  • SC is a 1 time payment. Never pay again after your first purchase!
  • Long time SC's can obtain the Dragonguard offer. Obtaining order is from top to bottom

  • 3 Character slots for your account upon upgrading
  • If your first character is upgraded, you can make an additional purchase of 9.95 USD to unlock all 6 slots!
  • If your first SC has a DG Piece, then all your SC accounts will have a DG piece. That means if your first SC has the entire set, then all your other characters will also have the complete set.
  • SC's get an additional 200 NG's when they start the game.
  • The Ducky Dive Mini-game is a SC exclusive minigame that lest you dive for powerful items.
  • SC's get to hold 33 Mechas into their inventory, 17 more than their NSC counterparts.
  • SC Mechas can equip TWO mods on their mecha.
  • Access to the Awl Merge Shop in the Star Captain Club, allowing them to merge Non-Star Captain mechas into SC Mechas, allowing them to equip two mods on Non-Star Captain mechas,




    Examples of SC-only Specials


    For the sake of time, space, and effort, I will only post a short example of the plethora of Weapons and Specials that are only avaliable to Star Captains. Below is a short list of some, but not all SC only weapons and specials.


    1. House Mechas
  • Advanced Runehawk: Body unlocks the Mana Shield Special, which diverts some damage to energy instead of taking on the full damage itself.
  • Advanced Raven: Body unlocks the Smokescreen Special, giving the player an additional 30 Boost, while giving the enemy -50 to their attack bonus.
  • Advanced WolfBlade: The head unlocks the powerful consuming Rage Special, increasing damage output over time. After level 35, the accuracy reduction goes away.

    2. Steampunk Series
  • Back Arm is a unique SC-only Special which nerfs an enemy stat based on the situation.

    3. Web Walker Head
  • Special Increases the player's immobility resistance by +100, effectively protecting the player from resistible stuns. (Irresistible Stuns will bypass the resistance roll. Keep that in mind when using this weapon)

    4. Mecha-roni (Mecharoni job)
  • FA has a chance of +50 crit.

    5. Quickflash series (Quickflash mission)
  • Unlocks Head weapon that reduces enemy hit by 50 for 4 turns.

    6. Werewolf series
  • Unlocks Head weapon that heals damage=to damage dealt and inflicts DoT.

    7. Frankenmecha (Halloween rare)
  • Arms get bonus damage.

    8. Geist Hunter (Ghosthunting job)
  • Body that gives +50 Def for 5 turns unlocked. Disclaimer: Lower level versions have no SC bonus, nor do they have a default Head weapon.

    9. GLaDERP A, GLaDERP B (GLaDERP)
  • Body makes opponent's EP regen negative.

    +5 to rolls for SC's

    This guide is inaccurate relating to the above feature.

    Energy blades 101 W/ Star Captain Uniform = +0 to rolls
    Energy blades 101 W/ Energy Blades Uniform = +4 to energy blades 101 rolls (Normal)
    Mecharoni quests W/ Mecharoni Uniform = +5 to mecharoni rolls (Normal)
    Mecharoni quests W/ Star Captain Uniform = +0 to rolls
    Soluna Desert quest W/ Star Captain Uniform = +0 to rolls

    Found a place where the Star Captain Bonus is applied: The save superheros roll on Zargon.

    Looks to be limited to some of the newer missions.

    I didnt have to do that. i just had to reply to an e-mail and i got 3 extra slots for free.
