@Mondez: If I may, I believe that you should stick with those 2 attack cards. 2 and 5 attack cards are very cost efficient and don't cause clutter like excessive 1 attack cards do. I almost always (99%) use 1s and 1 damaging pierce cards (when not needed) as Empower fodder.

@Mirai: No you are perfectly safe. Nulgath said you can remove cards from the deck where I assume they would safely go back to your inventory. There is NO WAY they will be destroyed as it will make 0 sense for them to be.

I agree because this'll be my prediction for CC this week.

The 70% of the playerbase will upgrade will switch out their 2 and 1 attack damage cards for 5 attack damage cards (if we are able to do so) and pvp all we will see is constant 5 damage attacks for the normal attacks, but of course lower damage and cost efficient decks will be the minority though the most battle proficient.

@Mondez I've noticed that too. If you have, for example, two poisons, and the enemy has only 300 health, the first poison kills them. Then, however, your character attacks again to fufill the damage from the other DOT. It worrks with all DOT's.

All I'm saying is that I have no idea of how CC is going to work. There has been no description of it yet. We've only been told a tiny bit about card packs, but nothing of the CC mechanics. Vague rumors don't encourage me to jump into the system. Unless we get some of that information before launch, I'll be planning to concentrate on character hunting.

Woot! Got myself an Overfiend Blade evo so now I'll train this baby up to 20 and let the tide roll for CC.

I'm part of the crew also, but I'm the shadow of the network.

I thought Jack was your signature character and not a lot of players use him now-a-days.

Abberant's mine because no one uses him due to his poor torture chamber.

I'm sure if you "bond" a bit more with Jack, you can master him when you have him at level 20.

I know how skilled you are with your sig character though my Abberant hasn't faced him in a 1 vs. 1 battle to judge Dancer's skill sync with you.

Somebody mentioned the Overfiend blade? Let's talk about how Oblivion blade would be awesome...or how about the betrayl blades?


Edit: @Above: I ment this one http://aqwwiki.wikidot.com/oblivion-blade-of-nulgath-rare as it was the first floating sword. It's a bit odd that it wasn't the first form of the Overfiend blade unless Nulgath swapped it out for the Overfiend blade we know now.

@Combat: Exactly what Mondez has said, level him to 20 and you will know. However, don't level your main like you would any other character. Don't think of it as 'farming' but rather think of it as a 'journey'. Just keep on battling over and over again to get the feel of your character and know the inner workings of its wonders. Every character can shine if you spend the time to make it happen. I did all of this with Shadowdance and next thing you know, I got it to level 20

@Mondez: Is your Abberant level 20? Perhaps we can have a battle! :)

We talking signiture characters? I guess mine currently is my only level 20 till I get somebody I like to use more...The Headless Horseman - "Ahahahahahaha!!!!!" Which I guess makes sense?

Edit: Also if I were to pick another character I like to use alot, it would be Lei Crossbow as Energy is a really underrated element in the game.

I beat Jmagician and it was an epic match.

1st turn of Abberant: after charging to 19: 5 hit combo from my Abberant
1st turn of Dancer: Attack and Poison
2nd turn of Abberant: Poison and Attack
2nd turn of Dancer: Poison
...

I won at the end too long to commentate. It was epic though.

Whooo had to get through like 7 pages of forums to get here, that was a doozy. I have to say my main would have to be Tharr, I know I just got him but I do the best with him and he is fun to play and I never get bored with him.
