Anyone find it odd how bloodlust requires technology? I mean, the skill is a bit on the savage side and technology is sophisticated, so they have essentially nothing in common.

I just noticed it when I used my new blood mage build :p I've always had a fair bit of technology so I never noticed it.

So what if it's passive? You wouldn't have a skill called "Beer hat" require strength.

Indeed true. Perhaps it is mean't to be sophisticated and savage like. A nice blend of both.

It's only a example to show how irrelevant they are. You wouldn't require strength to drink from straws from a bottle on a hat you put on.

blood lust is a passive and technology was put on there because it was a part of nerf for bountys

Inconceivable!


Blood Lust has Tech as a requirement so that Strength builds can't completely ignore the Technology stat. A high Strength Bounty Hunter or Blood Mage can do very well with just Strength and Dexterity and that much damage provides a huge amount of health through Blood Lust.

The requirement isn't there to make sense logically (not much makes sense in-game actually ), it's just there to reduce the power of extreme builds.

Yah Technology doesn't make sense. It should be dex or support. (preferably support) The SA req should be changed to tech though.

I believe they add dex to massacre but dev's did some good on nerf bountys.

I don't think the dex on massacre mattered much. Massacre/Berserkers would want a healthy investment of dexterity anyways so that they don't miss with the finishing blows.

To clarify,

1. The stat requirement for Bloodlust is tech (starting at 20 for level 1 Bloodlust, and requiring an additional 2 tech for every skill point added to it hereafter)

2. The stat requirement for Shadow Arts is support (starting at 20 for level 1 Shadow Arts, and requiring an additional 2 support for every skill point added to it hereafter) (the stat requirement for Shadow Arts for Cyber Hunters is higher, though I'm not sure of the exact number)

3. The stat requirement for Massacre is support (starting at 23 for level 1 Massacre, and requiring an additional 3 support for every skill point added to it hereafter)

I believe that the tech requirement for bloodlust is reasonable and should NOT be changed to support, as it would greatly constrain builds (38 tech is reasonable as tech is needed for resistance and for many weapon requirements). I know Shadow Arts has a support requirement, but it isn't a very central part of a bounty hunter's build. Massacre may be an important part of the build, but at level 1 it only requires 23 Support.

Why is gun damage associated with strength? How hard one pulls a trigger doesn't make a gun shoot a faster bullet. In fact, pulling the trigger too hard might break the gun :/.

These aspects are just illogical parts of the game used to maintain balance.
