Doubling the rewards was a pretty nice change. This'll benefit lower/mid levels, making it easier to go through those slow levels as well (and unlock more quests). This does make it rather ridiculously easy for higher leveled players to gain XP, though. Doubling all rewards means that you can encounter monsters that give almost 20.000 as regular encounters. Some Bosses now give over 50.000 XP. The cap being ~300.000 at levels 90 and up, that's only 15 'regular' battles before you hit your cap. o.O quote:
I don't think the new cap is less than the old one. I played for a bit today and hit my previous gold cap surprisingly fast (according to AQstats.com), and I can still get gold from battles. I'm going to test out how much gold you can get when I have a little bit more time on my hands :P It would seem they're not even present anymore ... . Testing around for a bit, I was trying to go for my Gold cap and never met the XP cap along the way. I did 'hit' the (previous) Gold cap according to AQStats (127%) and ended up capping XP for over 200% and still haven't actually stopped gaining either. That's as far as I was willing to test. I think it's safe to say that this is not how it's supposed to be (that's an entire level's worth of XP you could gain in a single day). I'm gonna stay away from WF (or at least refrain from cap farming) for a while until this is fixed. Aelthai confirmed that this is in fact the way it's supposed to be. The caps follow you progress better now. Low at the lower levels, with large amounts of XP needed for the later ones.
