This has already been added to suggestions, it would be interesting if the community finds this to be a positive addition or not.

Build Buster Feature (Forced Retrain)

An odd feature that could add to the battle would be a build buster feature. One could purchase a varium edition (+% chance) or a credit edition (+% chance). What this feature would do, when you beat your opponent, on the last turn, you have a chance to break their build. Maybe a nice graphics would be interesting to show what happened. Basically it would break the player's build, and when they return, they would be in retrain mode. They would be forced to take valuable time to retrain.

I would think, it would be good to give the player the option to activate it for which ever battle they choose.

It would be such a mean skill, but very useful when factions are competing against one another in what ever competition.

This would give lower leveled players a hard time... Annoying others.... I like it!

it would have to be really low, like 2 or 3 percent.
Just because it could really ruin someones day. For example if you are going for 1v1 you can expect to do 600 battles. so a 3% chance means you are gonna have to retrain 18 times. That would get any player upset. Let alone if you are new to the game and don't know to Screenie your build.

then the % change of breaking others build must be very low, cause it would be too frustrating to retrain like 2 times in a day, and what the breaker would benefit from that, its not very good reason to add this feature to just break others build

I disagree, People whom are going for 1v1 title will want to get fast wins and the best possible % rate so you tell me what would be better : Slow wins ( according to have to retrain a lot) OR fast wins high %

I don't like the idea at all. At least not under the actual training system they have.

Although the idea of a ''special move'' that you could do (maybe 'Mortal Combat' style but less graphical). You buy the special move and you can use it on an opponent if their health is under 5 hp.

@Jzaanu If this were implemented, how would it work on NPCs? If at all, of course.

It wouldn't be that annoying. I use 5 focus--93/51/45/45/46/45 dun dun dun. Not at all challenging.

The feature would be in actual pvp play. DBag is correct with our training system. I would think of instead of break the build back to lvl 1, maybe lowering down 5 levels and then retrain back to current level.

The ratio would be quite low, so free retraining would be difficult. I will add the adjustment to my suggestions. The feedback is great. :)

I think thats a horrible bad idea. Retraining is so annoying already and does cost quiet alot credits.

If the feature was applied, the retrain cost would be bypassed. I think a good analogy is a true stun.
If a player was "Build Busted", once they returned back to the map, if they were level 33, they would be at retrain mode at level 28. That individual would need to retrain back to 33, add their armor and weapons, and once they do, go back into battle.

I also think making this feature active at level 30, and it can only be activated against 30+ level.

Many of us are still learning the game even into our 20's, so this feature truly would be quite bothersome.

I will add this to my suggestion. :)

How would it work? Where would my stats be if I got build busted? What stats would be taken out and what skills? I suggest starting from support then tech taken out. Shadow arts, massacre, then venom strike taken out then the 3rd tier skills.

So by build busting.. when you activate it to your opponent their skill tree will be will randomly get messed up and forced to retrain? no?

I think that instead of forcing them to retrain, how about it just does not allow them to join a battle for a while. Otherwise, it is like giving them a free retrain. I would like to be build busted if it gets released the way you have right now.

Very interesting thought, where would the stats/skills be 5 levels back. Having it random would allow the player to think what got dislodged. If the player took notes, or if they have their build memorized, retraining shouldn't be too difficult, but if they have no clue, they were truly build busted.

This feature would be an emotional controversy. Technically, this would be almost considered a "KO" if one used an analogy. Essentially, the player looses their senses, and after the match, they have to pick up themselves and retain their awareness.

I remembered many on the Old Forums had asked for a feature one could actually Knock Out the opponent.

I really like the varied opinions on this

No. The devs have more important things to work on then this monstrocity..

1) The only "good" think from things like this I see is that they would stop bots, for a certain amount of time.
2) Just think -how long after the introduction of this would everyone remember their builds EXACTLY, so it's not even hard for them, just annoying and a waste of time?
3) I keep getting beaten by Varium-filled players. You want to humiliate me even more by introducing something that will mostly benefit Varium players (as the percantage for them is likely to be higher, as 900 Varium (guessed price) = 1 hour of IRL job, and 50,000 Creds - a week or so for an average non-Varium player .
4) If somebody broke my build, and I later met them in a fight, I would FLAME, and FLAME, and then FLAME them even more.
5) The only people that will like this are those who get some sort of sick thrill out of annoying others. And those "others" will get sick of this and quit.

Thank You for your feedback SpeedNfs.

This is only a discussion. It is nice to see what people think and how one would respond. The feature would get tremendous amount of emotional extremes.

While this game, at this moment, is focusing on classchange/weapons, my thoughts are only of features where people could buy to enjoy as an addition.

I dont like this idea , i dont want to lose meaningless time to do the build again :/ And it will be equal in all players so anyone can break oponents build , it will only do less wins for all players and spent meaningless time in ED.

Maybe they should make a Build Buster button for players that wanna have some fun messing with each others builds

I think this feature would very interesting, if this feature used wisely during competitions. If I was #2 in a daily, and I vs. the #1, this would come in very handy. Also if the percentage was really low like .5-5% and there is a maximum amount one can use it during the cycle, it can prevent it from being overused.

Many of my ideas are actually in conjunction with others, so if some of my other suggestions were implemented, this feature would become extremely useful.
