  • The widget can be clicked to check the player's current Instinct, Analysis, and Counter. [Pop-up: Counter <active/inactive> | Instinct: Z (+2Z% Damage Reduction) | Analysis: A (+10A Crit).]
    • The left pauldron represent Instinct stacks while the right represent Analysis stacks, each capped by 5; stacks are represented by the number of spikes.
    • The eyes from the helmet from the widget will glow if the player was affected by 'Counterattack' (see below).
    • If Instinct is 3 or greater, clicking the dragon badge on the widget above the Attack button allows the player to toggle an Instinctual Counter. [Pop-ups: Not enough Instinct (Z/3), gained when receiving a hit., Instinctual Counter activated. (-3 Instinct, +120 Defenses, -120 Avoidance), Instinctual Counter deactivated.]
      • Upon the next action, consumes 3 stacks of Instinct and applies 'Instinctual Counter' (+120 Block/Parry/Dodge Defense, -120 Melee/Pierce/Magic Avoidance) to player for 1 turn.

  • If the foe's race is 'Reptilian', each of this class's skills will gain +5% base damage.
  • If the foe's race is 'Dragon', each of this class's skills will gain +10% base damage.
  • If the player's trained STR and INT are both at least [Level+10] (100 at Level 90) and their total STR and INT, including points from gear, are within 20 points of each other, each of this class's skills will gain +50% base damage.
  • The following effects are Counter effects and will apply 'Counterattack' to player:
    • 'Instinctual Counter'.
    • 'Prepared Counter'.
    • 'Bracing Counter'.
    • 'Slayer's Counter'.
    • While it has a Counter effect active, the first time each turn an attacker's hit lands or glances the player, the player automatically apply 'Counterattack' (+100% Boost, +200 Crit) to themselves for 1 turn, which is signified with this animation and the helmet's glow from widget; Instinct stacks cannot be gained if a Counter effect is active.
    • 'Counterattack' is immune from buff detection effects.
  • While DragonSlayer is equipped, the player applies the following permanent effects to themselves:
    • 'Slayer's Instinct' (+2Z% Non-Crit/Crit Damage Reduction): Z is equal to the player's current Instinct stacks (capped at 5); Instinct stacks are gained from receiving direct damage (once per turn).
    • 'Slayer's Analysis' (+10A Crit): A is equal to the player's current Analysis stacks (capped at 5); Analysis stacks are gained from triggering 'Counterattack' effects; Analysis stacks can be used to activate 'Phantasm of Akriloth' and 'Dragonslayer' skills.
    • 'Weighted Armor' (-30 Melee/Pierce/Magic Avoidance, +10% Non-Crit/Crit Damage Reduction).
  • Fully train this class to obtain the DragonSlayer badge.
  • The DragonSlayer class was originally released on December 5th, 2008 and was updated on September 18th, 2014; it was revamped again to its current version on May 15th, 2026.
