Upon using Attack Type 1, Trelix starts a Magic Combo, consisting of Frostburn, Firestorm, and Plasma. (Pop-up: Trelix starts a <Frostburn/Firestorm/Plasma> combo!) - Trelix's combo rotation is Frostburn or Firestorm -> Frostburn or Firestorm (whichever wasn't chosen previously) -> Plasma -> Repeat., with 1st use of Frostburn and Firestorm chosen by the state of player's current MP:
- Frostburn: Player's current MP was even.
- Firestorm: Player's current MP was odd.
- Upon using Attack Type 8, which can only be activated if Trelix is on Phase 2, Trelix will only use a Magic Combo between Balefire and Meteoric, with the same conditions as above to determine which is initially chosen (Balefire = Frostburn, Firestorm = Meteoric); the rotation will be Balefire or Firestorm -> Balefire or Firestorm (whichever wasn't chosen previously) -> Repeat. (Pop-up: Trelix starts a <Balefire/Meteoric> combo!)
Trelix will only shift to Phase 2 if Sir Malifact uses Attack Type 9 in Betrayed Bonds and gains the following effects: - Changes his appearance to that of an undead.
- Resets and changes Trelix's rotations.
Trelix follows the skill rotations: - Phase 1: Attack Type 1 -> X -> Y -> Z -> Repeat., with X -> Y -> Z representing his Magic Combo rotations:
- Frostburn: Attack Type 2 -> Attack Type 3 -> Attack Type 6.
- Firestorm: Attack Type 4 -> Attack Type 2 -> Attack Type 6.
- Plasma: Attack Type 5 -> Attack Type 6 -> Attack Type 2.
- Any of Phase 1's Magic Combo rotations are paused to use Attack Type 7 once if Stabina was defeated for the first time. (Pop-up: Trelix: 'Stabina?! No... Not you, too!')
- Phase 2 (Betrayed Bonds only): Attack Type 8 -> X -> Y -> Z -> Repeat., with X -> Y -> Z representing his Magic Combo rotations:
- Balefire: Attack Type 9 -> Attack Type 10 -> Attack Type 6.
- Meteoric: Attack Type 11 -> Attack Type 9 -> Attack Type 6.
