 The Signature and Avatar Testing Thread is to allow forum users to receive an appraisal about their signature and/or avatar(s) conformity to forum regulations. Moderators and ArchKnights will periodically review replies to this thread and leave comments on the suitability of submissions. We ask that only Mods/AKs reply to tests; please do not comment about another user's post.

It is your responsibility to check your post and make changes if necessary.
  • If you post here and and your signature is rejected, you will have one day's grace period to amend it before it will be submitted for removal.
  • Any signature which violates forum rules and is used outside of this thread is still subject to removal.
  • If you are unsure of whether or not your signature is allowed, it is better to post it in this thread manually for approval than to add it to your profile.

In addition, while Archknights are responsible for checking signatures posted in this thread, forum staff have the final say in whether a signature is appropriate for use or not.

I have me a new one...



It was 3 PX too long. But I think I fixed it.

498x100 pixels is good. 61.47KB filesize, not so much. You're about 11.5 KB too big... - SH

I'm terrible with maintaining file size, but how's this? (I think it said 150 kb o.o)

Just a little signature I made for my brother, now that I know I can.
And out of curiosity, can you let me know the file size, even if it's good?



28.15 KB + 500px × 100px = It's Good! ~CC~

Also, I tried resizing gamer rulez's signature, is it fine?



19.25 KB + 500px × 58px = It's also Good! ~CC~

decided to get one, here's the test.
I'm not sure if the size is ok.

this is not clan advertisement. the wording is in reference to my light characters.
(just so you guys known)

Why isn't it working?

You need to enclose it in [img][/img] tags, and the URL needs to be of the image itself, not the main Photobucket website. Either way, at 52.91KB, the image's file size is slightly too large. ~Stray Cat

 Yes, I know this sig is over 177kb
The lowest I could go was 60kb
Otherwise it looks ugly under 50kb

I wanted to ask a few questions:
How do I make it look like nice to stay at or under 50kb
Should I get rid of parts of the animations (86 frames)?
Which bits should I get rid of?
Any tips to make it under 50kb?
