I'm approved but to be honest that might be just because fal got fed up wih me posting a request to join all the time yup I was a persistant little fella. I would write something but I dunno my writing is not the best. Tis weird how there are none left who write there now considering it use to be filled with quite a few geotians however these people never posted again on the Geoto forums.

'tis true its a bit early to be doing things like that the only reason for more council members would be if full scale war broke out or Geoto became famous again.

The main point is that at the moment council spots would be reduced as we have low member activity.

Yeah I personally like the way the council is at the moment I mean we're not overdoing it and we're not underdoing it we seem to have an alright balance.

The problem is most of the council members are inactive which brings us to another point. When to host the next election?

Hmm well Geoto's council elections were mostly focused on if people complain about the council member then an election is made. For example if I were to post here and say I dont think Oliver bell is doing Geoto justice then an election would have to be called to see if the majority agree. It's old fashioned and maybe not as democratic as most modern day stuff but it works.

Well offically we are supposed to have one every two months, atleast that is how it has been for awhile, or as you said if the clan head is doing a bad job but due to inactivity the clan voted to leave it till the event but then activity didn't pick up as much as hoped so once again it was cancelled and we are now well overdue for one and I was wonder what the rest of the clan think of this, after all are activity is increasing.

Also Lifeman9 could you edit the first post replacing the old link to the culanary delights thread for a link to the new one.

Well you can make an election if you really want but I think it's okay for now however activity is starting to build and if AE pump out another war event thingie then that'll be the time to do elections and possibly bring back old council jobs. The destiny of Council can heavily rely on AE and this is one of those times. But you know tis summer time and AE normally give us something to do during this time, just a matter of patience.

So the good old election debate again. I agree it would be better to post-pone them as it seems like everyone is satisfied with how Geoto is being led. Hopefully another clan event will be released that is more idividually clanned based if that makes sense? That way more people will want to check out their clan. I like Lifeman's idea for the future because half of the council members at this time i have never seen around here.

I'll put in my bit of advice in a second for you all :P

May I ask what the point of "vice" council is? To me it seems like an advisor board. Shouldn't that be changed as members on the head council are vice members?

Next, head strategist.... No point, you can't make a strategy unless you say fight so and so time. If you don't want to axe put it down to three members.

General Council... No no no no no. What is the point of a general council?

Encouragement/Peacekeeping. Remove peacekeeping. Encouragement, is that like patriotic?





Can I get a list of the council descriptions please?

Yeah you get them alright but those placements mostly don't even exist now for the fact of like you said they don't have a point no more. Focusing on the council right now is probably not the way to go focusing on appealing to new members and getting events going etc is like you're RP idea (hope that's going well btw) I mean I know it all boils down to sheer dumb luck but you never know tidal wave of people may flood in at any minute now and then we'll address the issue.

For now though 'tis not an issue that needs to be talked about.

Vice Council was added for the sake of when Dollerboy2000 left, If Oliver goes on a Holiday the Vice becomes Temp. Of he leaves us for good (via ban etc.) then the Temp becomes Head for a short while so we can decide to keep him or start an election.

Section III: The purpose of the War/Strategy Council is to try to make open minded strategies that the citizens of Geoto can follow that would lead to success in wars. They are also in charge in choosing our generals and commanders for our army. They will also record and maintain our fighting balances and views while fighting for themselves.
Section IV: The Encouragement/Peacekeeping Council tries to encourage Geoto to keep in to high spirits even if it gets tough. They also are responsible in representing our clan in cross communication. They also help cut down flaming and spam on the Geotian AE forums
Section V: The General Council is the council in which will take over any position unable to be filled by set council member, They can never be heads of that council because The VCL(Vice Council Leader) will take that place, This council is made up of 3 members, if it doesn't have any member it isn't that big of a problem.

So like yeah I was thinking unity is somewhere in Paxia but lets face it, it has kinda died at a time where we all need to practically band together to boost activity if nothing else. So how about we try getting all the clans to work together on a new exciting project that can be called PUN (Paxia united nations) how awesome is it that it spells PUN btw? anyways I was thinking we could have a PUN council to speak on behalf of Paxia and in the council would be each a member of the clans like for Geoto it would be you naturally. Plus we can have a banner made starring all of us and perhaps a flag and a colour to represent paxia like opal or something multi coloured like a rainbow?

Anyways that's just a thought to help get people off their couches and do something fun that everyone can take part in also just realised Geoto has a banner but we have no flag like the red cross or the stars and stripes maybe we could make one? Shouldn't be to hard to make I reckon cos you know flags arent normally fancy just a symbol and colours.
