We need a new owner for the guardian class guide. The owner has been inactive for ages. Somebody could take it over and remake it for when the guardian class is out and live. After the testing I mean.

I'll take this one, I can put up a partial one that I made a while ago, although the finished version will be done in about 2 weeks at most.

DarkLore -> RE: =DF= Guide Requests (5/17/2015 2:33:07)

As long as players are taking requests... Anyone want to take over the paladin guide too? What with how long the skills have been redone for and the new art that has potential for matching items in said guide. Heck! The whole Necropolis Armors guide needs a overhaul. But who could take that workload?

crabpeople -> RE: =DF= Guide Requests (5/17/2015 13:54:41)

I might do the Necromancer guide becauase [sm=zorb_smilie.gif] sempai deserves the worship (lil Zorbak is so kawai ^.^). Yet right now I don't have the time so if anyone comes before me I'll gladly give a hand.

DarkLore -> RE: =DF= Guide Requests (10/8/2015 21:07:58)

We do still need new Paladin and DeathKnight guides! Since that Necropolis armors guide is very outdated.

megakyle777 -> RE: =DF= Guide Requests (10/11/2015 3:14:42)

We will probably need a guide for the New DoomKnight too when that is finalised.

hidan_orochimaru -> RE: =DF= Guide Requests (10/11/2015 5:52:33)

New Doomknight (along with the old one) were already done. Check "The Doomknight Codex" by revan 225.

Sneevillord -> RE: =DF= Guide Requests (10/18/2015 6:10:31)

We need updated guides for paladin, necro, deathknight and dmk

Azan -> RE: =DF= Guide Requests (10/18/2015 8:51:08)

Sneevillord, there already are updated guides for Necromancer and DoomKnight (as said in the post just above yours...).

It's true we do need updated guides for Paladin and Deathknight, and if you want to tackle them, I'd be willing to give feedback and comments to help you.[:)]

No.

Hopeful Guy -> RE: =DF= Guide Requests (10/18/2015 9:29:50)

This thread is not for discussing the guides but just for requesting and accepting guides, and any other posts that are irrelevant will be deleted. In addition, all requests need to be in format. It's fine to tell someone that we don't need the guides requested, but save that for a PM and avoid using this thread for that.

Coronis16 -> RE: =DF= Guide Requests (10/25/2015 5:30:46)

1. Guide topic requested: Guide for Ascendant
2. Why this guide is essential: Ascendant is often said to be one of the best armours in game, and a lot of people (including me) use it, so it is surprising that we don't yet have a comprehensive guide for it, even though the other Atalean classes have a guide.
3. How I know we don't have a guide like this: I used the search function and even checked the Dragonfable Guide Index for many days, but to no luck. I see there is a pending guide, but it has been locked.
4. Notes: (Optional) I see that there is a request for such a guide on here but it doesn't seem to be in the proper format so I'm just restating it in a proper way. I'd actually like to make one of my own, however, I do not have enough info, I'm not quite sure how to go about making the guide, and I'm hard-pressed for time. If anyone wishes to take up the making of this guide, I will be willing to provide useful input, especially on how to best deal with the different enemies you meet in-game (The attack rotation etc). Just PM me.

ViridisTheBlade -> RE: =DF= Guide Requests (11/26/2015 10:57:02)

1. Guide topic requested: A guide to the Master Soulweaver class
2. Why this topic is essential: Master Soulweaver is a great class, but how do I get it? What are its skills? Find out here!
3. How I know we don't have a guide like this: I've searched, but to avail.
4. Notes: I'd be happy to provide visuals/info if necessary.

Skullkyopi -> RE: =DF= Guide Requests (2/20/2016 5:05:44)

1. Guide topic requested: Guide for Ranger
2. Why this guide is essential: First impressions with the class make it seem extremely mana-intensive to the point it might put off a few players, and damage-wise, it looks like it doesn't have as much punch as the other classes. Also, plenty might be confused with the class's passive and the split stat bonuses. It really needs a bit of thinking through and an explanation to use efficiently. Also, the current guide is outdated.
3. How I know we don't have a guide like this: So far, nothing. Not even a skill rotation in Hopeful Guy's The Ultimate DragonFable Strategy Guide, which is kinda surprising. I would've thought they'd have it down already.
4. Notes: None.

Sorry about that. Ranger got revamped after the guide was first finished, and it just slipped my mind when the revamp came out that I needed an update. As for a new guide, any]one can take that if they want to. -Hopeful Guy

dragon eye01 -> RE: =DF= Guide Requests (4/10/2016 19:48:35)

1. Guide topic requested: SoulForging
2. Why this guide is essential: SoulForging is really straightforward, but then again so is Alchemy and it has a guide, so I figured this one deserves one too, especially because it's WAY more interesting.
3. How I know we don't have a guide like this: It literally came out last Friday.
4. Notes: Nothing really to say here, but mainly it'd be a guide on tips and tricks to choose which weapon you want, as well as why soulforged weapons are so appealing to get.

Not sure this is necessary- it's pretty easy, as you noted, and although we have a guide for alchemy, it's debatable whether that's really necessary either. It'll be difficult to get enough info together to get a guide rather than a small stub of information. -Hopeful Guy

Better578 -> RE: =DF= Guide Requests (5/28/2016 19:33:24)

1. Guide topic requested: Master Soulweaver
2. Why this guide is essential: The current Soulweaver guide is outdated in it's information on both the original Soulweaver and Master Soulweaver.
3. How I know we don't have a guide like this: The current Soulweaver guide was last updated before Master Soulweaver was released/
4. Notes: Does anyone know if the Batleal's Aventail still only affects the regular SW class, and not the Master?

6ssd -> RE: =DF= Guide Requests (7/24/2016 4:12:45)

1. Guide topic requested: Revised Deathknight
2. Why this guide is essential: Current deathknight guide is outdated
3. How I know we don't have a guide like this: I've searched through the guides and couldn't find an up-to-date one
4. Notes: None

VioletPhoenix -> RE: =DF= Guide Requests (9/16/2016 14:55:03)

@ViridisTheBlade @Better578 I agree... Master Soulweaver seems fairly similar to Soulweaver, but still need at least a rundown of what's changed

BTW- how to get it= complete Tomix Saga (Ch. 3)

Edit: OK, OK-- so there is a guide for the armor (skill details), but still no battle strategy guide or stat build info.

Skullkyopi -> RE: =DF= Guide Requests (10/23/2016 6:08:23)

1. Guide topic requested: Technomancer
2. Why this guide is essential: The class seems to require a different style of play than the usual straightforward way. As amazingly useful Hopeful Guy's rotation is in the guide, it seems to focus more on the usual damage-dealing rather than the focused enemy control this class seems to offer.
3. How I know we don't have a guide like this: The current guide is pre-revamp.
4. Notes: Personally, I've tried most classes and found each one's gimmick all except Technomancer. I get the multi-spam rotation but it's the single-target control that eludes me. I've been trying to figure out a good rotation of stuns and damage and so far I seem to be failing at it or it just feels wrong. I wanna give this class the same chance I gave Ranger, which I ended up loving when I tinkered with the double-turn chance with a certain blinding trinket.

Cedrei -> RE: =DF= Guide Requests (4/9/2017 2:10:12)

1. Guide topic requested: General Stats Guide for 14.0
2. Why this guide is essential: Because most class guides are still outdated, and it would be useful to at least have general stat build suggestions if you're using them, since "The Ultimate DragonFable Strategy Guide" already provides some suggested rotations for each class.
3. How I know we don't have a guide like this: I've searched through the guide section, and didn't find anything.

Existing guide could have an update on L85 stats build. ~Peachii

(Late) Edit: Yeah, but that guide hasn't been updated since 2010, so it isn't up to date with the 14.0 stats update.

chrono2 -> RE: =DF= Guide Requests (9/4/2018 10:43:32)

1. Guide topic requested: A guide to the Archivist class!
2. Why this guide is essential: I... Have no idea what I'm doing with this class. [&:] I'm sure I can't be alone in this. Compared to the other calendar classes, this one seems remarkably underwhelming, and I KNOW that has to be user error.
3. How I know we don't have a guide like this: I searched for a while, and came up empty.

Nessa Ellensse -> RE: =DF= Guide Requests (12/25/2018 22:30:47)

Frostval Guide some of the Frostval Quests are difficult if not out right impossible

Skull tha lad -> RE: =DF= Guide Requests (10/15/2019 0:09:57)

1. Guide topic requested: DA Base Classes (the ones you get from Dragonsgrasp)
2. Why this guide is essential: While there are certainly more effective classes available for DA players, many still enjoy the feel of the base classes, and these upgraded versions provide an extra oomph in the higher levels. However, they come with a slew of changes that can throw off the strategies that work well for their original counterparts, and can be confusing. For the sake of those players who want to use these classes, but feel lost trying to figure them out on their own, appropriate guides would be a big help.
3. How I know we don't have a guide like this: I have looked through the Guides thread, and have used the search bar for each class to double check that none of them are mentioned anywhere. They are listed in the Encyclopedia thread, but that doesn't hold the same subjective strategy input as many of the class guides featured here. It simply lists the basic information that anyone can figure out just by looking at each class, while lacking advice on how to use them effectively.
4. Notes: This request is in reference to all three DA Base Classes (DragonWarrior, DragonMage, and DragonRogue) but it is not necessary for all three classes to be done in the same post or by the same person.
