Hmm, a small note, if it is as same as AQ, LUK would give additional blocking chance, BtH, lucky strikes and a chance to go first... No damage bonus (unless you count the Lucky Strikes d:)

As to replacing DEX with INT, I personally don't think thats a very good idea. With the low DEX, you'd already be losing out quite some BtH and blocking and against WFs post sweep monsters (at least, I think they're post sweep :S), you'd be needing as much BtH you can get.

Not neccessarily, if you're a Tank BeastGunner, there'd be no way you can get full potential of END, CHA, DEX as well as LUK. (Sorry if I keep nagging you D:)

No problem moneybags! Well, again thanks for your comments! [;)]

You always don't need to have DEX but stategies are very important in this case especially if you have 200 LUK,
and it's a Lucky Tank Beast Master / Tank BeastGuneer which mean your Pets will do they work, and you also can do
some damage and strategies to help your Pets while you are (almost all the time)safe with your high END. :p
As to replacing DEX with INT is not bad idea, though!
  • 50 - 100 INT is enough to use Twist to scramble stats of the enemy or just for healing spells.
  • If you don't like to replace DEX into INT, then it's up to you. There are the options for. :)

    Would you actually *need* 50-100 INT to use Twist itself? It only costs 70 MP. With a level 40 character and 0 INT, you can use Twist 4 times, which is quite enough for scrambling elements. As for healing spells, you can do fine with just potions. With 200 END, you'd *rarely* need healing spells. As you've said yourself, one would be pretty safe with that high END.

    Less END and more STR+DEX, possibly less LUK if you don't have enough stat points for STR. At level 45, I'd have a Striker looking like this:

    90 STR
    90 DEX
    0 INT
    15 / 20 END
    0 CHA
    15 / 20 LUK

    Okay, I'm currently running on 50 STR/INT, 30 DEX, 20 END. I'm thinking of dropping END and DEX by 10 each and jacking up my offensive stats to Power Hybrid-ish level. Any advice? And is there anything important I've missed? Character Page

    Its looking pretty good. One thing I disagree with, however, is the drop of DEX. You'll need a decent amount of DEX (I doubt 20 will do any good, and with the low BtH weapons armors, you'll need as much as you can get). What good is the extra offense if you can barely hit? The drop of END would be fine however, I can survive level 40 with 15 END with no major problem.

    In my opinion, a Power Hybrid build is good, but at such early levels with barely any stat points to train, it may be a challenge to make use of the little stat points to put into those offensive stats with a decent amount of DEX with a bit of END. Just my opinion ;)

    Eh, the STR/INT increase will give me the same amount of BtH as the DEX drop loses me. I'm gonna go with it. Now I just need to see if I'm missing anything...

    Meh, just my opinion...

    Your character seems fine. For weapons, just choose the melee ones over the guns, and keep upgrading them closest to your level. There isn't a huge selection of Miscs, Gauntlets, Pets or Spells, just use common sense and buy the ones you feel you need.

    With the release of untraining (woohoo! Roznort FTW!), I've changed my build to Engineer.

    Projected Lv.45 stats, currently Lv.36:
    STR=0
    DEX=75
    INT=80
    END=20
    CHA=0
    LUK=50

    By level 45, my Striker stats are going to be:

    STR: 200
    DEX:0
    INT: 0
    END: 25
    CHA: 0
    LUK: 0

    Not enough interesting pets yet for me to want to raise up charisma. Luck isn't that useful until It's over 80, also.
    Strength already gives me bth, so there's no need for DEX until I max Strength.
    I might change 25 END to 25 DEX, but I'm not too certain right now.

    Polar beam sword and gathorax's special are fixed. :D (thanks westwind)

    No more special doing 15 per hit for the lvl 40 gathorax.

    Also, lvl 40 warp star ninja ftw.

    Looks like a classic hybrid :P

    I'd suggest less END; I survived level 40 with 15. You can spread those 15 points on STR, INT or DEX, depending on your fighting style. If you spam weapons, put them into DEX and STR; if you like using Techs, put those points on INT, and possibly DEX.

    by level 40 i will have

    str=65

    pretty much my strength and dex will be my main
    stats while my endurance and intellect will be secondary.
