Jakau Ryuu -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/4/2011 11:32:28)

@UltraGuy: 75 for unpaid characters and (currently) 100 for WarpGuardians.

UltraGuy -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/4/2011 11:37:46)

Then how come there is equipment above level 100?

ArchMagus Orodalf -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/4/2011 11:39:04)

Just in case they decide to raise the level cap, I suppose, or for testing.

UltraGuy -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/4/2011 11:40:21)

Oh I see, so there are no Gauntlets that have Water Resistance?

ArchMagus Orodalf -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/4/2011 11:48:53)

Nope.

Sir Niaq -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/4/2011 12:02:56)

May I ask for a character rating here? :)

Click me :3

Level 31 Striker, WG, all equipment should be as high as purchasability goes..

You can rate me per PM too, I don't care about that :)

ArchMagus Orodalf -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/4/2011 12:09:07)

Good stuff. However, you could do with a Summon MediDroid Tech, since its healing is more efficient than that of the Medic Skill. You should also buy pets.

A better Darkness weapon is the Nefadon Claw.

Sir Niaq -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/4/2011 12:21:19)

Hm. I at first intended not to buy pets, but okay, I'll check into them. I'll also get a MediDroid. Thanks Orodalf! :)

UltraGuy -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/12/2011 8:03:03)

How do you get Missile Launcher Mk-x?
Thanks.

ArchMagus Orodalf -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/12/2011 19:11:00)

Even though the Pedia Entry is not yet up, the Info Submission post contains all that you need - http://forums2.battleon.com/f/fb.asp?m=19493922

Versions Mk-57 to Mk-137G are found in the Commander's Arsenal. The other two are in the Hangar Arsenal. (Both are shops found on the Hangar Deck.)

BlackAces -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/12/2011 19:41:45)

So far I've just been following the striker guide and it seems to be serving me well so far. I'm just wondering if there's anything that the guide perhaps doesn't have that I probably should get?

Here's my character - http://aq.battleon.com/build30/charviewWF.asp?temp=80615577

ArchMagus Orodalf -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/12/2011 19:48:57)

Your character is well-equipped. However, you could do with two more pets, the Cosmoslug (40) for Darkness and the Warp Outlandish Flowering Findle for Water.

If you want Misc Items (I don't use them myself except against bosses like Celestra or Dark Madder or Naaseria), you should take a look here: http://forums2.battleon.com/f/tm.asp?m=17573912 Again, you really don't need them much.

BlackAces -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/12/2011 19:51:40)

Alright thanks for the advice and I don't really see myself using misc items much anyway so I'll probably leave them for a while until I come across said bosses you mentioned and require them then.

Elementer -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/14/2011 21:38:29)

So...I was thinking of checking out WF sometime. But the two guides in here both specify the use of "Guns"...are there any other builds? Preferrably someone that also uses swords/magic or something (like a Hybrid/Warrior in AdventureQuest). I'm not really into guns.

Technomancer -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/15/2011 2:43:17)

That's because Magic is pretty rare/hard to use in space. To quote ArchMagus Orodalf from the Technician Guide:

quote:

Unlike the Magi of Lore, however, Technicians rarely use magic-- after all, mana in outer space is dispersed and difficult to gather and shape, resulting in magic's relative inefficiency for WarpForce operations and missions. They also rarely use Magical weapons for much of the same reasons-- Guns are the choice weapons of Technicians.

So both Gunners and Technicians will be using Guns (with Technicians using Magic weapons where available if need be). You'll be focusing on using Techs and Skills as your main source of damage.

The Warrior builds are called Strikers in WF. They attack using Melee weapons ('sticks'). We also do have a Striker Guide. It's a bit outdated, but still useful.

Elementer -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/15/2011 11:38:25)

Alright! Thanks Techno :)

II_Andy3rd_II -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/18/2011 16:58:05)

I have just started WF and I was just wondering what are the builds?

ArchMagus Orodalf -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/18/2011 17:22:16)

There are two main builds-- Striker and Gunner. A semi-main build is "Technician," which really is technically a Gunner, but which I feel merits mention on its own. :P

For specifics, see the following Guides:

Ultimate Gunner Guide
Ultimate Technician Guide
Striker Guide

II_Andy3rd_II -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/18/2011 17:48:49)

What build can take out enemies the fastest? And also can someone help me get the items I should be getting?

ArchMagus Orodalf -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/18/2011 17:54:24)

Those Guides detail the items you should be getting.

Also, as in AQ, all builds are supposed to take out enemies at the same rate.

II_Andy3rd_II -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/18/2011 18:55:25)

Alright thanks man. Never mind I know now.

Cookielord12 -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/27/2011 13:40:19)

Starting Warpforce. can anyone give me a beginners guide for WF?

Digital X -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/27/2011 13:43:14)

I sure can :)

Striker Guide.

Gunner Guide.

Technician Guide.

These are the three main guides for builds, which should help.

A Striker build can take out enemies fastest than other builds as far as I know at this moment. It's just my opinion. ;p
As for the items you can take a look at this Guide to Weapons and Stats of a WF Striker by moneybags.
  • As a note to pick the 50 HP/MP Potions here. :)
