(1.0)Walkthrough

(1.1)Navigation

Well before you go slaying monster you'll probably want to know how to do it first! Below is a Navigation Image so that you know exactly what is what. Most is pretty self explanatory and you'll be able to pick up in a heartbeat.

Navigation

(1.2)Maps

Now that you know your way around the commands, time to do some slashing! Here are the maps to the four areas including in Beta:

Murlwood Swamp,
Muertum Forest
Caverns of Khronos
Mount Fouldoom

(2.0)Combos

(2.1)BP Combos

Cold Mercenary ~ Ice Strike + Mercenary
Description: This combo is deadly in the higher levels, but will also help out beginners also. ^^
Licenses needed: Mercenary Contract and Mage Guild License
Requirements Ice Strike, Mercenary (Any will do), Weapon (Larger Range is better)
How to use: Before battle make sure Ice Strike is equipped. First deploy Mercenary, once Mercenary has been activated, cast Ice Strike. This should deplete enemy's Heal to at least 40%. From there, attack enemy normally if not already dead.

Alchemist ~ Stun + Potions + Shield
Description: This is more of a long haul combo that you would use against Bosses or other High HP Enemies.
Licenses needed: Apothecary Prescription and Mage Guild License
Requirements Stun, Shield and Potions
How to use: Before battle make sure Stun is equipped. First attack normally, you want to keep your shield up most of the time, but still attacking to do some damage. Once your Shield Stamina is getting around the 50% mark, cast Shield. If you some attacks have gotten through, then you can always cast Stun (Shield up) and then use a Potion. Repeat if necessary until the Boss is defeated.

Elemental ~ Fire Strike + Lightning Strike + Ice Strike +Shield
Description: The Elemental Combo is nice to use if you just want have a bit of fun or you are farming for the elusive Archmage Achievement. ^^
Licenses needed: Mage Guild License
Requirements Fire Strike, Lightning Strike, Ice Strike and Shield
How to use: Before battle make sure you have one of the above skills equipped, doesn't matter which one. Always have your shield up and alternate between Element Spell and Shield Spell. E.g Fire, Shield, Ice, Shield, Lightning. Rinse and repeat. ^^

(2.2)Non-BP Combos

Assassin ~ Poison + Shield
Description: This, like Alchemist, is a long haul combo. But it won't cost you anything!
Licenses needed: None.
Requirements Poison and Shield
How to use: Before battle, make sure you have Poison equipped. Once you have entered battle cast Poison immediately. From here, alternate between hitting and blocking until either your shield stamina has run out, in which case you cast Shield, or when Poison runs out and so you cast again. Repeat this until your enemy is dead.

Apprentice Mage ~ Smite + Poison + Shield
Description: The Non BP all spell combo that can deal the damage for you!
Licenses needed: None.
Requirements Smite, Poison and Shield
How to use: Before battle make sure you have Smite equipped.

(3.0)Farming

Gold/Exp Technique 1
Requirements Cold Mercenary Combo
How to use: This, in my opinion, is the best/easiest way to farm Gold/Exp. Unfortunately it is for the higher levels and you must have completed all four maps. All that is needed is to defeat the Dragon in all four of it's forms, this gives the best gold/exp you can get from any enemy in game. With the Cold Mercenary Combo you should be able to do this in five minutes maximum. ^^

Gold/Exp Technique 2
Requirements Cold Mercenary Combo or Apprentice Mage
How to use: If you're unable to defeat the Dragon to a fast enough standard, Boss Fights are always a good alternative. Minotaur Boss is probably the best way to go as he is the strongest enemy ingame next to the dragon, so he'll give you a decent amount of gold/exp when needed.

Gold/Exp Technique 3
Requirements Cold Mercenary Combo or Apprentice Mage
How to use: Again, if you aren't beating the Minotaur Boss as fast as you would like, there's an alternative to the alternative! There is a Duel Fight with the Undead Barbarians, the third Area from the Boss 'Arena'. They will be easy enough for you to beat seamlessly but also with good gold/exp gain because there are two of them!

---

Mage/Archmage Achievement Technique 1
Requirements Assassin Combo or Alchemist Combo
How to use: For getting those elusive Magic Casting Spells there is a lot of ways of going about it. The faster way I find, if you aren't worried about getting gold/exp, face any monster you want. All that is needed is for you to keep your Shield up at all times and just keep recasting Shield. You can do this for as little or as long as you want.

Impenetrable Achievement Technique 1
Requirements See immediate above.
How to use: See immediate above. But instead of versing any monster, take out the Undead Barbarian Boss, as it's primary and secondary attacks are double hits and so you will get double the points. ^^

SlyCooperFan1 -> RE: The Complete Bladehaven Guide (11/7/2010 12:54:32)

You should probably rename this to "The Complete Bladehaven Guide" since Bladehaven has been released. By the way, it's Bladehaven, not BladeHaven. :P

Also, I believe an update is required for the Survival Mode and the free weapons that comes with it. :P
