lvl 33 vsing lvl 25-30 isnt good enough. We need something like lvl 33 vsing 27-29. But then non variums well get pwned. Sigh, so much problems ED encounters.

edwardvulture -> RE: =ED= Design Notes: Time for Pudding? (Release is LIVE) (5/26/2011 3:31:07)

Dude. this is so needed. Looking at the Juggernaut leaderboards make me sick. Too much people with near perfect ratios. And also can we just show the wins in a record. It feels less demeaning.

Silver Sky Magician -> RE: =ED= Design Notes: Time for Pudding? (Release is LIVE) (5/26/2011 4:29:56)

Looks like an awesome update! Too bad I'll be incredibly busy over the next week :P But then I'll be free by the following week, so I'll get to see the suggestion shop :D

Honestly I can't understand why anyone would dismiss this update. For those who lament that they are going to be trashed in Juggernaut, it is supposed to be a challenge (for the Juggernaut) in the first place.

Shadronica -> RE: =ED= Design Notes: Time for Pudding? (Release is LIVE) (5/26/2011 7:42:01)

Actually the one nice bonus from this update is for the artists getting to proudly have a part in EpicDuel. Congratz EpicDuel team for allowing the players to have a small part in the update. Thank you.

I imagine there would be many excited budding artists that would so happy to have a weapon or amor etc used in the game. Win/win.

I am not tryign to slam you Cinderella. I think bringing you on board was a good move. At least the are attempting to look at their weak points such as customer service and communication. What I am saying is that when a software company updates mechanics (such as patches to defend against exploits) or tweeks their own website, there is no reason for there to be banners and posters announcing these things. The DN's for this week were basically "We did our normal IT work this week we will also be changing the level of the Jugg battles. Sorry for another no game content release folks. Not too mention (and you know how I feel about the disgusting promo we got fed) we just bought yet another $50 varium package and have nothing to spend it on still because there is nothing for sale. Unless, no wait, don't tell me.... The suprise part of the update is your going to refill the "limited items" that are already in the game for the 1000th time. FACEPALM! [:@]

T.600 -> RE: =ED= Design Notes: Time for Pudding? (Release is LIVE) (5/26/2011 8:29:48)

Here's what I think of the upcoming update:

Website Improvements- I really don't care; waste of time lol!

Mission Log- Well, missions are pretty lame, useless and a waste of time right now. The mission log will hopefully build on missions but once again it's nothing big.

Slash Commands- I'm not going to comment on this one...

Juggernaut Improvements- They just changed the level range so it's nothing big.

Bug Smashing- Umm...that bug never occured while I was playing but once again it wouldn't take more than a few hours to 'smash' the bug/s.

Suggestion Shop- I hope this pleases non variums, artists and those people who wanted non-rares. Let's hope they please the players who want rares (such as me) next week. :)

This update is nothing special and I AM NOT looking forward to it at all. I might just see the weapons in the suggestion shop but this is a massive MEH update.

Sageofpeace -> RE: =ED= Design Notes: Time for Pudding? (Release is LIVE) (5/26/2011 8:34:33)

@VIck VEGA

we finally agreed in something there is no need to announce that they fix this bug or the tweaks that they do in balance this update is empty just like most of them are.

PivotalDisorder -> RE: =ED= Design Notes: Time for Pudding? (Release is LIVE) (5/26/2011 8:45:46)

im really confused. you cant expect monumental updates every week without fail, addressing the hundreds of issues the players put forth....can you ?

mission log, massive step forward in the rpg side of the game, dont judge this by the current missions we have, they are just test runs like all other features in the game.

bug smashing is big news. ive seen 2v2 battles were 3 people in a row selected an attack and nothing happened, if its fixed thats awesome-o.

cant wait to see what ED did with peoples submitted artwork, although if they all cost varium I can see yet another backlash and long post by luna "non-varium" moonraider

the new mission log costs 1200 varium though as a tester feature for 1 week, and will become an achievement for all those who purchase it.

PS: the last line was a joke :)

Sageofpeace -> RE: =ED= Design Notes: Time for Pudding? (Release is LIVE) (5/26/2011 8:54:02)

@@above some of the things you say were true not everything can't be perfect or done in on update but maybe you should check some other games forum.

Go check there design notes, i don't see them making a one page post about smashing some bugs or a big exclamation mark like it was something amazing or out the word.

they can fix bugs without needing to announce them eventually player with notice them

Luna_moonraider -> RE: =ED= Design Notes: Time for Pudding? (Release is LIVE) (5/26/2011 8:55:16)

@ Jehannum
hell ya you woud see a uberly long post if all the weps were varium. and lolz. also when u click /jump it will cost ya 1200 varium too.

That made my day! But, you forgot and after that we aren't really going to take it off. You'll still be able to get it! [;)]

The DN's were like a restaurant advertising things like "We just got a super awesome delivery of those tasty free ketchup packets. Did I mention we refilled the salt and pepper on EVERY SINGLE TABLE in the diniing area! Raise the ROOF!

Sageofpeace -> RE: =ED= Design Notes: Time for Pudding? (Release is LIVE) (5/26/2011 8:57:40)

@Luna

Lol

RKC -> RE: =ED= Design Notes: Time for Pudding? (Release is LIVE) (5/26/2011 9:01:21)

@Vick Vega

Are you kidding even the quest log is varium. This time people wont buy that. Hahahahahha!!!!

I was hoping that they would nerf that bots but no they are going to go for the useless stuff first.

This week is a very weak release. (Hey that rhymed)[:D]

T.600 -> RE: =ED= Design Notes: Time for Pudding? (Release is LIVE) (5/26/2011 9:08:02)

^Yes the release is a 'nothing' release and the quest log thing was a joke. Do you even know what a quest log is?

RKC -> RE: =ED= Design Notes: Time for Pudding? (Release is LIVE) (5/26/2011 9:12:25)

I know what a quest log is.

Whyare they so stubborn to nerf the robots. Its the only thing that makes the game unbalance.

Sageofpeace -> RE: =ED= Design Notes: Time for Pudding? (Release is LIVE) (5/26/2011 9:13:38)

RKC we don't need more nerf what we need is the price of the game to drop is too dam insane

RKC -> RE: =ED= Design Notes: Time for Pudding? (Release is LIVE) (5/26/2011 9:16:18)

No seriously the bots need a nerf bad. I'm not asking for a super nerf just enough to make them on par with our primary weapons.

Tank Builds deal insane amount of damage. Thats just wrong. They are like turtles with freaking BFG's on their backs.

Sageofpeace -> RE: =ED= Design Notes: Time for Pudding? (Release is LIVE) (5/26/2011 9:18:44)

@ I know but Our Wallet take priority

RKC -> RE: =ED= Design Notes: Time for Pudding? (Release is LIVE) (5/26/2011 9:20:23)

@Sageofpeace

Thats the most selfish thing I ever heard. I don't know what to do anymore.

PivotalDisorder -> RE: =ED= Design Notes: Time for Pudding? (Release is LIVE) (5/26/2011 9:25:51)

Blizzard advertise their updates for world of warcraft and here are the patch notes that i found just by googling world of warcraft.

http://us.battle.net/wow/en/game/patch-notes/4-1-0a [they list all the bug fixes so everyone can see what been changed]

so yes this is a perfectly normal occurence among mmorpgs [which Epicduel is evolving into]

IsaiahtheMage -> RE: =ED= Design Notes: Time for Pudding? (Release is LIVE) (5/26/2011 9:29:00)

Why are people especting some massive release every week? They cant do that without massive fail. This update is good. People complaing about Juggernaut being to hard... please. Its suppose to be a challenge your not suppose to have a 95% win rate people are acting like thats okay and normal. It should at least be a 60-70% win rate. But the 90%+ win rates is in no way balanced. Anyone who thinks so obviously has no care about the poor lower levels who are getting pwned.

RKC -> RE: =ED= Design Notes: Time for Pudding? (Release is LIVE) (5/26/2011 9:29:16)

I'll tell you what the biggest bug here in this game. Its the robots.

@IsaiahtheMage

They just need to nerf the robots because in juggernaut the ones that are really hard to put down are the ones that have the robots.

Vick Vega -> RE: =ED= Design Notes: Time for Pudding? (Release is LIVE) (5/26/2011 9:36:25)

This is a little different than WOW having a web link to the patches.

Cinderella -> RE: =ED= Design Notes: Time for Pudding? (Release is LIVE) (5/26/2011 9:46:44)

Just to clarify- the Player Suggestion shop is opening next week. NOT for this update.

And I'm pretty sure many of the Player-Suggested weapons are going to be nonvarium (if not all).

PivotalDisorder -> RE: =ED= Design Notes: Time for Pudding? (Release is LIVE) (5/26/2011 9:46:50)

it doesnt just have a weblink, when you update even the most minor patches, all the patch notes are on the download/install box as they are in progress.
and if you go check the forums the updates are talked about alot. so yes they also have the bells and whistles people are complaining about.

end of the day, players ASKED for pre update notes, they got them. now they complaining that they are pointless? im happy they are doing it personally.
