I would not want the energy to be reduced for the static charge because I consider that punishment like they took away reroute but instead what they should have done was incase the energy return of Assimilation to 4 times keep it at three turn cool down if they want, make it unblockable be used with any weapon. That way at max if say 47 points of energy is taken away then at least the Blood mage could get back max 40 energy.
That way one class skill is not nerfed but the other class skill improved. Non-mages and class hoopers will say this will make the Blood mage over powered because they want no improvements to the Blood Mage because now with lower defense an resistance the blood Mage is easier to kill as you will see in some posts and they like easy kills.

btw, take a look at todays 1v1 leaderboard :) guess which class is in all 3 top slots and i just checked all the
character pages for the rest of the top 15 and theirs 1 blood mage, no cyber hunters and about 8 TLMs

Do you guys hear yourselfs? Nerfing your fellow players is the solution to fixing our problems? No. I have to agree with some others here and Angels. Just buff the others so they can match blow for blow with Tac Merc that is it. Remember how Mage was nerfed and it was ruined Mages forever? Do you wan't that to happen again? Just buff the others.

@Hun Kingq If you haven't noticed. Blood Mage is the second strongest New class.
It is Tac Merc>Blood Mage>Cyber Hunter. I have seen them all fight before. Cyber Hunter is a bit of a let down. Blood Mage has a very effective STR Build. They have Fireball,Bloodlust,Beseker,Assimiliation and Deadly Aim. They work really well. Tac Merc is indeed has the most builds at their free will. Tac Merc has like half a dozen builds they can try and be succesful. Blood Mage has two the STR Build and TECH Build(Plasma Cannon). Cyber Hunter I really don't know nothing seems to "special" about them.

Anti nerfs. i hate nerfs just buff the other 2 classes. remove super useless charge for blood mage and replace any other skill and change the skill tree to make hybrid tier 1 or 2 skill.


here is what a blood mage new skill tree should look like:

Tier 1: field medic, fireball, hybrid armor/defense mat or reflex boost
Tier 2: plasma cannon, blood-lust, overload
Tier 3: berzerker, intimidate,plasma rain
Tier 4: Assimilation, Field commander/ any other useful skill because sc sux and the devs still wont admit that sc is super crap,deadly aim

links of each skill remains the same. positions of overload and plasma rain swapped.

here is what a tactical merc new skill tree should look like:

Tier 1: Field medic, double strike, hybrid armor
Tier 2: Maul, blood shield, frenzy
Tier 3: smoke,Surgical strike , Artillery strike
Tier 4: reroute,atom smasher, poison grenade

yes i think technician should be replaced with with blood shield as hybrid armor is more then enuf to cover up for the lack in defenses. reroute to be shifted to tier 4 and smoke shifts to tier 3 and links with maul. surgical move to tier 3 and links with reroute, poison grenade and atom smasher.

skill tree of cyber hunter is reasonable. only thing which need changing is just static charge should be changed into a passive or they should add in another passive to help cyber hunter.

if the devs make a mistake with some aspect of a class or skill then fixing it isnt really a nerf but a balance fix.
but what your saying is buff 5 classes to compensate rather than making a few tweaks to 1 class which happens to be OP :)

it doesnt make any difference if they "nerf" tactical mercs if its an improvement towards balance. i dont understand the
resistance to it. its not like they are gonna do a massive nerf similar to adding agility and 4 turn heal to stop lame heal loopers.

they are likely to just swap a skill or two and maybe tweak some of the numbers. or maybe just 1 thing at a time.

i havent lost to a single bm but i did lose to 1 or 2 CH
from all the classes its like this

Luna You Must Be Crazy To Give A Blood Mage Field Commander .. You Dont See The Mages Abusing STR For Fireball And Berzerker They Would Be Really OPED

i said any other skill just suggesting fc. for all i know it could be defense matrix or any skill which is better than sc even blood shield is a better than sc for blood mage because they can just regain back the blood loss using blood lust.

hey genius str merc didn't have bloodlust. bloodlust + tank + huge loads of strength will be OP.
str BH was already OP enough and it didn't have full capacity of str. and it didn't have hybrid yet it would still easily get 95% at 40-55 an hour.

IsaiahtheMage, Assimiliation is the most blocked and Beseker, is the 2nd most blocked skill the Blood Mage has if the tact merc wises up and puts more health say 120 then if the fireball does 50 damage they are still left with 70 and the blood Mage will hardly have enough to heal much less to do level Beseker and with low defense and resistance just Aux and side arm will do him in. One Blood Mage on 1vs1 at number 7, he has the new staff and look at the armor he is wearing can it be yes it is founders armor, the only armor gets 10 enhancement slots and +7 Resistance
+8 Dexterity, +8 Technology, what armor we have that gets +8 Dex/Tech.

Luna is right no one class should be nerfed because that is just punishment.

That is why I always make suggestions to improve the mage class without messing with the skills or stats of other classes but no my ideas people are convinced will make them over powered when it will just give both non-variums and varium mages a fighting chance in all battles

Like Assimilation since people on't like the idea of taking more than 10 points of energy how about instead of giving back just half of the energy taken how about give back let say since the cool down is unfair at 3 give back 4 times as much so it would look like this:
Level 1: 1 x 4, 4 energy regain
Level 2: 2 x 4, 8 energy regain
Level 3: 3 x 4, 12 energy regain
Level 4: 4 x 4, 16 energy regain
Level 5: 5 x 4, 20 energy regain
Level 6: 6 x 4, 24 energy regain
Level 7: 7 x 4, 28 energy regain
Level 8: 8 x 4, 32 energy regain
Level 9: 9 x 4, 36 energy regain
Level 10: 10 x 4, 40 energy regain

The damage stays the same as well as the cool down make it unblockable since it is the only energy regaining skill the Blood Mage has and available with any weapon.

Overload should have never been put after Plasma Rain it should have been put before they did that becaus if you want overload then you would have to waste a point. Same with Intimidation not really that usefull it should have been put after Deadly Aim, so two points that can go for Blood Lust or whatever else so if a player wants max Blood Lust, Deadly Aim, and Assimilation then they can. Max Deadly Aim has a 42 Support requirement now, no one new this because it was one thing they purposely failed to mention I discovered this when I retrained.

Since people always claim I don't know much about the Game today I helped a low level Cyber Hunter and a low level Tact merc with their builds and guess what they came back and told me thank you because their battle wins increased.

the truth is i only play for fun and hate focus builds so i just find a fun build then abuse its stats win or lose does not matter to me as long as its fun

@IsaiahtheMage: The thing is if one class is overpowering the others, it's much easier to go nerf that class rather than buff all the other classes to get them on the same level. Good balance is done in small changes. Buffing 5 classes instead of nerfing just one is almost guaranteed to create more balance problems than it solves.

The end effect is still the same since in a PVP all your power is relative to everyone else.

I have been reading a lot of these posts, and seeing what everyone has to say. I agree, whining sucks, but I have been beat down bad by A LOT of tact mercs. I didn't pay for varium, I used an offer. So I don't have the best stuff, but its not bad. I play the game for fun, so I'm probably not on the level of others, but how much fun is it when you play and you always get beat by the same class. As far as changing class to tact merc to see how it is not overpowered/imbalanced, that's not the answer either. I like being a tech mage, thats why I play as one. Something needs to be done. I don't know what. I was a non-varium for a long while, and it is tough to win.
