Well that was rude, what build do YOU use? I chose robots because I got bored primaries, bored of secondaries, bored of auxiliaries, bored of maxed attack skills, bored of stat abuse, etc...

Maybe people seem simple and incompetent when you look at their outsides, but DON'T judge please! I see strength abuse with stun attacks and I won't diss them because its what they like and what they are special at, and I ACCEPT that! I really adore robot usage and nothing you can say will make me feel like a fool for how I play EpicDuel.

Just as many people depend on founder armor, they depend on gamma bot, learn to live my friends, make a new build, think a little bit because it doesn't hurts anwyas a retrain just costs 500 credits and a few minutes of training, that is about pvping not copying builds. Finally mages got what they wanted, a buff to caster skills now you will see how mages will not be anymore a ''free win'', we will get you down into the floor [:D]

Well I understand. Next time you see me ingame make sure to check my built as you will see i don't spam tech for bot.

But to me, spamming is spamming. Wheter you spam strength or tech or support..

@Turkish Nerfing bots will NOT bring back creativty all it is doing is nerfing the players who where forced into 5 Focus because all the fun old creative builds where destroyed. All their is now is 5 Focus(Nerfed badly TWICE) and spamming builds. Oh yeah the creativty is back.

well it takes more strategy than that.
specially if the match goes on for a long time (usually against others with strategy)
i fought a couple of mages the other day. and one of them was chatting with me telling me how i was the only TLM to beat him for that day. and he was on the boards with like 200 wins at that time. he had a really good build and strategy.

Guys they're many other builds that are effective but just need strategy, are you so lazy to think a bit? Come on, move on anyways it was kind of oped, its power damage, this will bring more balance and more challenge into the game.

yes thats right, i had a str build withing the first few minutes of the update
and NO ONE that i seen during that hour had a str TLM build at that time.
and i did tell turk that str tac merc was pretty good
so he made his own build.

and in all honesty, those who are the ones copying builds, are the ones getting 85%-90%. while the real ones who made the builds are capable of much higher % (like me, i gotten real high % with str tac merc thanks to strategy)

Who cares who started the TLM strength builts. What is the point of the argument anyway ? Let it go, you sound like a child.

Yes there are dozens of builds! Robots aren't overpowered they have simply been given too much damage, and that COULD use a nerf. Our mainline attack is now slow and we have to wait 4 turns to attack again with our best attack. Secondly, robots aren't skills they are wepons and that means they can be affected by blocks/defelctions. We retrain to make our robots good and players such as yourself have stated that we should stop using our build and use yours or complain that we win too many battles.

IMO i dont think that robots should be nerfed like that.
however nerfing the damage it had was a better option.
u know the damage the robot gives? (10-14 for assault bot, and 11-15 for gamma bot as extra damage)
if they removed that extra damage from robots, it would have been pretty much the same
altho this robot nerf works too.

Just because i was using str build doesnt mean i will continue to use after this update , the thing is 5 focus was blocking all other builds different than 5 focus -str -support. Now there will be more variations.

Also dont forget Shadow Arts is become useless skill now , without 5 focus Shadow arts with 42 supp req is completely useless (like all players wanted)

Sorry to say green but I never said to use my build neither I said you won many battles, re-read my post again and see that I said that you must retrain to find your own build and that the gamma bot's power damage was op. Anyways the user of 5 focus builds most of them are bored of it, let me ask you soemthing, Aren't you bored of using that build and same strategy?

@Cyber Your right their are dozen of builds. Like STR builds,tank builds,tech tank builds,STR DEX builds,SUP mage builds,SUP Merc builds and countless others. But yeah they ar all UNoriginal and all NON CREATIVE yes 5 Focus is not creative but creativty is gone. So since it is gone all we have is eitheir 5 focus or spam builds and now 5 focus is nearly destroyed.

I for once hate this nerf.I am a tech mage and I do use 5 focus cause that is the only way I could survive against str builds and insane supp multi build.And now they do this?
There is no logic in it,nor need for it.It just limits us even more and makes our robots pretty much useless.
Gamma bot is blockable,they nerfed it's damage once and now this?I just simply don't understand why...

I know and that's what you are poking at. You said, "that the gamma bot's power damage was op." meaning that we had too much of an advantage and I respect your opinion and all but the nerf means that if you want to use the robot to attack then you will have to wait many turns before any of your 'real' attacks become realistic.

And no, I am not bored of it. I loved my digital robot like family, we went through hundreds of battles together successfully and the way he was blocked on occasion was very lucky and it put me on edge when that meant we were going to lose.

Sadly, the way the game matured, 5 focus was the only balanced build. Since now, both bots are now single use bots, they must be selectively used. For Tech Mages, there were only two useful builds at high levels, one is 5 focus variant, and support. The Plasma Rain will be interesting, so us Tech mages will be the balance team this week to test this adjustment.

The only Tact build that might be adjusted is the Poison/ 5 focus tank. But that class has so many options, so most will join the Strength or likely Support variant builds.


The only thing that does sadden me, with the introduction of these new classes, balance will be the focus on the game over true features.

Differences:

Robots are weapons with cooldowns and can be blocked

Agility is a passive status (imo, the agility nerf is a confusing topic for me to worry about)

Field Medic is a skill and it uses energy


BINGO, I would be ok if robots required energy to use!
