Wiseman, The term buff is being thrown around too loosly where eventually like other terms will be meaningless and if it was put that two skills was getting a weapon requirement change, then players would not be questioning it but when you put the term "significant buff to the mage classes" Players that play the mage only see it as a change not a buff and players that see the term buff will go into 2vs2 and see that there is not an increase in damage will come on this forum pissed off because they did not get an increase in damage so get raedy for it. Now other players that play the other class will write in the future "the mage class recieved a buff and you want more, your just being greedy."

Now what about the skipping turns mess, I don't like loosing matches or coming close to loosing matches because my turn was skipped?

When will changes or adjustments be made to the support stat and defensive builds become more effective as they once was before?

When will the level cap be raised since it was put off once again?

^ Skipping turns has been an issue for quite some time now.Also partners that cancel a match still showing up and disappearing before anyone gets a turn creating a 2v1.

Something needs to be done! Why new weapons are more important to release than fixing ACTUAL game play beats me that's for sure.

@Below,

New weps sell gameplay? So what do 2v1's while clicking the 2v2 button do for folks? Does that sell gameplay also?

New weapons DO NOT bring new players on board. Also glitches in THE ACTUAL combat system such as these causes players to quit and NOT play. When a new player begins this game they already have TONS of weps to choose from but when they start encountering all these glitches would one think they want to stick around?

Wow... I barely complain... in fact never complain about balance update before...

THEN THIS?

I mean seriously? It does nothing beside making 1 build, and a pretty common build of Mage a little stronger.
It DOES NOT create any more builds for TM

And as one of few Mage who still use staff, I'm so deeply disappointed in this release as it balance nothing beside making Sword Mage less predicable (we all know how predicable Mage are). Make Staff Mage even less valuable (Look at BH, if they use Sword the lose Cheap, nice skill, they can't Mass, another nice skill, and Poison - not a bad one) and Mer (Can't stun, can't MP enemy... not a huge deal but better than current Mage)

What do you have as Staff TM user? A stun that no one use with Smoker these days? Or A skill that easily get blocked?

Sigh... wow... how exciting... another punch in the face

Mages are awesome. stop whining and actually be creative.

I have a 5 focus high tech juggernaut build. a 4 focus deadly aim strength build and a 4 focus assimilation strength build, a 4 focus support build and standard support build,
a high tech multi build etc. I even had a working supercharge build for 1v1.

If i ever use a sword again(not very likely becuase it would have to out tech Caden's Wrath) i will enjoy the fact that i have an extra damage Phys sword strike becuase me and Energy Primarys are tight even on my merc

I agree with psibertus, this gives more creativity for mages' build, I don't see a disadvantage the Devs took up a requirement for a skill, is actually better since in the future you will like to use a sword and you will have the opportunity to use bludgeon, don't think for the present but the future.
Also I see an incovenient on bh skill tree, its ultimate skills requires a wep and mage does too, so why doesn't merc has a requirement wep on it? This should be fixed out and also what about assimilation doesn't have a weapon requirement? It will give a lot of builds more efficiency at the battle. This is an issue that should be solved.

Well I have done a few fights so far today and noticed a lot more mages about.

VERY nice to see this. After all we have 6 classes.

Massacre isn't under-powered I don't see why it would get a buff. I read on the facebook page that there was a ninja update. Is it this one?

Eh... i experience much more lag than before "update 8th september". It s somewhat like during the days after Tesla release. [>:]


The only upside being: Battles fill quicker than before.
But i d rather have less lag than faster battle joins.

If they will fix Assimlation to being able to be used with a sword i guess the shuld also give it back to BM becuase it is the ONLY class in the game that CANNOT drain EP

I hope they make more higher leveled nonvarium seasonal rares because they are/will get outdated pretty soon. TBH instead of an enhancement of weapons standards, there should be a stat standard.
