Hey pivotal, So you are telling me that you spend money on this game, but you feel that those of us who do shouldn't be able to beat the ones who play for free?

drinde -> RE: War is Coming (4/28/2012 0:12:44)

Those who spend money may get an advantage, but those who do not spend money should have a sporting chance.

ScarletReaper -> RE: War is Coming (4/28/2012 0:16:11)

I agree with that, but I don't feel the people with nothing better to do with their lives than spend 12+ hours a day on this game should beat me just because I have a life. lol

that is kinda twisting what I said. I don't want varium gear to be equal to non varium. but buying bombs doesn't effect your performance in battle, it means you don't even have to battle at all.

lets say you fight a non var in combat, he has a chance to win, even if the chance is slim.
but when it comes to the war, if you buy bombs and win, what can that player do? nothing.

@Scarletreaper: you looking at it the wrong way, they chose to not have a life so they can battle, therefore they deserve to win more
than someone who chose a life instead. BUT that isn't really the core problem, it is players repeatedly doing it for the same faction to
the point that the war is just a way to spend time, instead of a huge event that is determined by the players actually taking part in it.

I do not consider buying bombs from a vendor taking part. sorry ^^

@Depressed: fixed, it's cause he uses the same avatar

drinde -> RE: War is Coming (4/28/2012 0:17:39)

If you spent 12 hours on the game and lost to someone who spent just an hour with cash, wouldn't you feel cheated?

ScarletReaper -> RE: War is Coming (4/28/2012 0:24:06)

@drinde No, I would consider how much of my life I wasted on a game for no reason, and then go get a job. lol

PivotalDisorder -> RE: War is Coming (4/28/2012 0:29:35)

lol you can have a job, a wife, a car, kids, a mortgage and so on, and still free up a day or two to spend 12hrs online.

always makes me laugh seeing other players playing the life card. especially when they are spending money on a game that apparently is a waste of time

ScarletReaper -> RE: War is Coming (4/28/2012 0:33:30)

I don't feel the game is a waste of time. However, I feel that spending All day on it everyday is a waste of time. And obviously those who don't understand some people have a life, obviously don't have much of one themselves.

PivotalDisorder -> RE: War is Coming (4/28/2012 0:51:24)

we all have a life, if a person wants to spend the whole time playing games and enjoys it, how is that less fulfilling than someone who enters the rat
race, has kids and ultimately ends up unhappy and unfulfilled. way too much thinking is wasted on deciding who has a life and who doesn't when we
all have one. I just think that if you are lucky enough to make your own life choices, you should, whether its gaming, family, sports or whatever.

in 100 years time, guess what......

.....you will be just as dead as all those others who have "no life"

ScarletReaper -> RE: War is Coming (4/28/2012 4:04:58)

Excuse me but having kids, and working for a living has not left ME unfulfilled. And the difference 100 years from now is that some people will remember me. aka great grandchildren. Nobody will remember who got the most wins on epicduel.

One Winged Angel1357 -> RE: War is Coming (4/28/2012 15:25:48)

@Drinde well since the newest war sounds like it will be set in the minetower area and at the end of last war Cindy said she liked my reasoning behind Descarls actions, and Admin 12's, so it is possible that this may be the tipping point for Descarl
