Dwelling Dragonlord -> RE: (DF) Woe of The Seeker Comments & Criticism (7/23/2012 7:41:04)

@Arthur Dragonlord: You don't have to do that, I was merely curious to know if you had it covered.

Arthur -> RE: (DF) Woe of The Seeker Comments & Criticism (7/23/2012 7:43:05)

*Flashes the cliched thumbs up and confident smile*
Got it covered!

Glais -> RE: (DF) Woe of The Seeker Comments & Criticism (8/1/2012 1:24:10)

And read ch.5-1. Kind of interesting seeing Rolith as a serious husband type.

Arthur -> RE: (DF) Woe of The Seeker Comments & Criticism (8/1/2012 6:31:31)

Chapter 5 Part 2 is finally up!

Sorry for the long wait. I've been bogged down by tests and the like.

Dwelling Dragonlord -> RE: (DF) Woe of The Seeker Comments & Criticism (8/2/2012 9:05:33)

I must admit that I was expecting Alina to yell when the hammer hit Rolith. There also wasn't much mention of (what happened to) Rolith after he got hit with a hammer.

Arthur -> RE: (DF) Woe of The Seeker Comments & Criticism (8/2/2012 9:15:03)

You can rest assured that Yulgar wouldn't throw to kill his friend and fellow.

Glais -> RE: (DF) Woe of The Seeker Comments & Criticism (8/8/2012 2:25:41)

quote:

Ash wasn't fast enough for the other knight's hulking frame didn't betray any hint of agility.

Don't quite understand this line.

Anyhow, it's nice to see Yulgar again. People don't write about him and it's been years since he did anything in DF...

Arthur -> RE: (DF) Woe of The Seeker Comments & Criticism (8/19/2012 19:52:01)

I'll rephrase that line.

And yeah, I am trying to give everuone their moment.

Anyways guys, next update will be a while seeing as I am having an immense shortage of time now with tests and all going down.

Arthur -> RE: (DF) Woe of The Seeker Comments & Criticism (9/26/2012 4:34:46)

Just wanted to tell readers and patrons that I won't be Foruming for a while. Too many exams and stuff.

BUT, I'll occasionally try to update Woe...

Perhaps I'll come back sometime in October for another chapter.

Hope you have liked the story so far.
Goodbye...!

Glais -> RE: (DF) Woe of The Seeker Comments & Criticism (9/30/2012 6:16:14)

It's been enjoyable, see you in October.

Arthur -> RE: (DF) Woe of The Seeker Comments & Criticism (11/16/2012 20:36:33)

Okay, just as a notice, starting tomorrow, I am gonna be continuing the saga from where we left off.

So the arc now onwards will be more action-oriented seeing as the good and bad armies go to war.

Hope you guys continue reading.

Arthur -> RE: (DF) Woe of The Seeker Comments & Criticism (12/5/2012 9:20:28)

The Book 1 Finale is up..!!!

And so ends my Book 1: Woe of The Seeker.

Book 2 shall begin tomorrow.

Dwelling Dragonlord -> RE: (DF) Woe of The Seeker Comments & Criticism (12/5/2012 12:42:54)

quote:

I shall make something up and send Ash away to Bladehaven tomorrow at dawnbreak.

Swordhaven

Very nice addition. Wasn't Arthur's death mentioned earlier by one of the necrophages though? It really shouldn't be as much as a revelation to Alina or Ash for that matter, so shouldn't her reaction be more like "Oh my, the Necrophage wasn't lying, was he?"

Arthur -> RE: (DF) Woe of The Seeker Comments & Criticism (12/5/2012 13:00:59)

Lol. While that should be the case, here's why:

To imply something is one thing, and the effect caused by implications is, to say, minimal.
However, to confirm or to say out loud what you think someone else is implying has a tremendous effect on the receiver. It removes all doubt in one go leaving your feelings bare.

Thanks for pointing out the typo.

Book 2: Fate's Fallacy shall begin tomorrow, should all go well.
I do hope you have all enjoyed the Book 1.
For Book 2, we go over to the frontlines as the Knights duke it out with the Shadowscythe on the battlefield. Rolith and Artix have an appointment with a certain DoomKnight and Azer and Lance join Ash in this twisted Lore. This Book shall be more action-oriented unlike Book 1.

Glais -> RE: (DF) Woe of The Seeker Comments & Criticism(Finale is Up...!) (12/10/2012 10:47:55)

quote:

"I don't understand your reasoning, and I don't want to know. I shall make something up and send Ash away to Bladehaven tomorrow at dawnbreak."

What an idiot.
Good chapter though, not what I expected for a finale.

Arthur -> RE: (DF) Woe of The Seeker Comments & Criticism(Finale is Up...!) (12/17/2012 4:54:55)

Fate's Fallacy is up.

I started with the Prologue to Book 2. If you guys liked Book 1, I am sure you guys'll like this too.

Darker elements right from the beginning.

Do comment and criticize.

Dwelling Dragonlord -> RE: (DF) Woe of The Seeker Comments & Criticism(Finale is Up...!) (12/17/2012 5:31:36)

@Arthur Dragonlord: I could understand the Sneevil, but why would Sepulchure kill off two of his necromancers? A man in his position really cannot waste valuable resources.

Arthur -> RE: (DF) Woe of The Seeker Comments & Criticism(Finale is Up...!) (12/17/2012 6:51:41)

@Dwelling, he killed just one Necromancer. Also, it's a show of anger. A cliched venture that you might've seen numerous times in media where Kings and Queens kill their own messengers or people should they bear ill-tidings.

This also goes to show 2 more things:

First is the uncontrollable power surging through him.

Second is, he still hasn't fully recovered from his defeat against the Dracolich.(In-game) I have mildly referred to the lingering weakness in him at the end of the Prologue if you could catch it.

So with Kid Sneevil dead, that ties up one more loose end.

Glais -> RE: (DF)Fate's Fallacy Comments & Criticism(Prologue...!!!) (12/24/2012 21:05:07)

Kind of a double trick thing there it pulls.
So will this Part focus on the antagonists?

Arthur -> RE: (DF)Fate's Fallacy Comments & Criticism(Prologue...!!!) (12/28/2012 12:50:36)

@glai, yes. In this book, the story shall be progressing from the perspective of the Necrophages and Sepulchure.
Also, I'll be putting in nuggets to show the good side as well.

@Dwelling, Is Azer older than the future Ash or are they the same age?

Dwelling Dragonlord -> RE: (DF)Fate's Fallacy Comments & Criticism(Prologue...!!!) (12/28/2012 13:00:32)

@Arthur Dragonlord: My story plays 7 years prior to the start of Dragonfable, Azer being born 10 years* prior to the first chapter.

*Not exactly, of course. Otherwise there would've been a birthday party out in the woods with some moglins and fairies.

Arthur -> RE: (DF)Fate's Fallacy Comments & Criticism(Prologue...!!!) (12/28/2012 13:04:57)

Ah. So he is older than Ash.
Current Ash is what? 12? 13?

Warmonger Starsaber -> RE: (DF)Fate's Fallacy Comments & Criticism(Prologue...!!!) (1/2/2013 3:03:49)

I like the Story Arthur Keep it Up!!!, and I thought any Hero could understand their Dragon if they have even come in Contact with their Dragon and had a Bond, sorry if i'm wrong!!!.

Arthur -> RE: (DF)Fate's Fallacy Comments & Criticism(Prologue...!!!) (1/2/2013 3:17:44)

@Star, hey there, glad that you like my story and took the time to read it.^^

Well, I can't agree more with your opinion. And might I add that once Dragon and Dragonlord have gotten used to each other, it takes but only a glance to judge each other's feelings.

Good Luck. :)

Warmonger Starsaber -> RE: (DF)Fate's Fallacy Comments & Criticism(Prologue...!!!) (1/2/2013 16:27:43)

So will Arthur return to Lore after His Death ???, and also are you implementing Book 3 into this with the Rose ???. I do Love the Story though!!!.
