Hmm ok Van, by the way, what do you think of Sarpedon and Verge?

Also, I know we aren't going to do a sequel, at least not right now, but I coudn't help but think of this world falling in some sort of Cold War eventually, I wonder how it would be

VanHellsin24 -> RE: [COLLAB] Project VanHo MortAurus *Under Construction* (10/7/2012 18:54:00)

I see Tarloc in Verge. Like...the spitting image.

Sarpedon reminds me of. Juggernaut from X-Men.

Excellent characters IMO

Mortarion -> RE: [COLLAB] Project VanHo MortAurus *Under Construction* (10/7/2012 19:02:44)

Nice, and thanks

VanHellsin24 -> RE: [COLLAB] Project VanHo MortAurus *Under Construction* (10/7/2012 19:05:40)

Lord Sarpedon looks like something Victor created. I mean, Victor's minions share a similar appearance to Sarpedon but less bulky and more stitched. Those poor mages, they just HAD to run into Victor on a cold, dark afternoon

Mortarion -> RE: [COLLAB] Project VanHo MortAurus *Under Construction* (10/7/2012 19:15:13)

Lol

VanHellsin24 -> RE: [COLLAB] Project VanHo MortAurus *Under Construction* (10/7/2012 19:31:14)

So in order for Galatea to join us is to defeat her single-handedly?

If so, I can't wait.

That's the idea. :P

VanHellsin24 -> RE: [COLLAB] Project VanHo MortAurus *Under Construction* (10/7/2012 20:12:22)

Here's one of Victor's Lost Experimental creations: The Galvanizer

Mortarion -> RE: [COLLAB] Project VanHo MortAurus *Under Construction* (10/7/2012 20:21:48)

Hum, I can't see it

VanHellsin24 -> RE: [COLLAB] Project VanHo MortAurus *Under Construction* (10/7/2012 20:24:18)

It's taking you to the login page?

Mortarion -> RE: [COLLAB] Project VanHo MortAurus *Under Construction* (10/7/2012 20:28:08)

Yes

lordkaho -> RE: [COLLAB] Project VanHo MortAurus *Under Construction* (10/7/2012 20:41:33)

Van...Can I make a suggestion? It's about your character.

Mortarion -> RE: [COLLAB] Project VanHo MortAurus *Under Construction* (10/7/2012 20:44:58)

Still unable to see the Galvanizer

VanHellsin24 -> RE: [COLLAB] Project VanHo MortAurus *Under Construction* (10/7/2012 20:51:42)

@lk

Sure

@mort

Try now

Mortarion -> RE: [COLLAB] Project VanHo MortAurus *Under Construction* (10/7/2012 20:57:27)

It works now

VanHellsin24 -> RE: [COLLAB] Project VanHo MortAurus *Under Construction* (10/7/2012 21:03:43)

Alrighty then.

lordkaho -> RE: [COLLAB] Project VanHo MortAurus *Under Construction* (10/7/2012 21:11:03)

Umm..It's about Stein's age.

I know were aren't really going for a realistic approach with our story and setting, but if Stein is over a thousand years old, that would mean he discovered electricity back when civilizations were still raiding each other like feudal warlords in nothing but rags and tunics in what was essentially the Dark Ages. Not to mention Stein's otherwise anachronistic clothing.

So, how about at least 500 years? A thousand years is quite a huge stretch for the advancement of technology.

VanHellsin24 -> RE: [COLLAB] Project VanHo MortAurus *Under Construction* (10/7/2012 21:27:40)

I thought we were in a warped future setting.

500 it is.

Glais -> RE: [COLLAB] Project VanHo MortAurus *Under Construction* (10/7/2012 21:29:46)

I thought so too but apparently we're in an alternate Earth's 1800s.
Which, I guess makes sense as California was nothing like Rainy Days back then.

lordkaho -> RE: [COLLAB] Project VanHo MortAurus *Under Construction* (10/7/2012 21:37:53)

Well, I can understand since your Bio was already made prior to the setting, but it takes place in a cynical 17th-18th century version of our world where the steam engine was not replaced by fuel run engines. A world were people of the upper crust are wearing puffy and frilly clothes, pirates roam the seven seas on massive airships, and pretty much most of the known world is left unexplored and uninhabited.

Anyway, thanks. 500 years feels a lot more plausible.

@Glaisaurus

The only way we can explain RD's technological superiority compared to the rest of the world is that they would be an isolated civilization that kept mostly to themselves. A super civilization of course is not a concept that's unheard of.

Anyway, about Stein, he does mention of lost documents. It could be possible that all his inventions in the past were too beyond his time, like how Van Hellsin says that no one believed him, and the Mage Council sought to destroy any physical evidences of these findings.

Mortarion -> RE: [COLLAB] Project VanHo MortAurus *Under Construction* (10/7/2012 21:43:14)

Hmm, you know, this reminds me of a comic book called 1899: When Times Collide*

*That'd be the translation from Spanish

VanHellsin24 -> RE: [COLLAB] Project VanHo MortAurus *Under Construction* (10/7/2012 21:49:34)

I made a list of plausible names to be used for countries:

Russia - Svarog
China - Xiangzhi
Japan - Hyakki Yagyō
India - Bramania

@lordkaho

Actually, they took the documents to be used. If you read my link to Victor's Galvanizer you'll see a glimpse into the situation he was in at the time

Mortarion -> RE: [COLLAB] Project VanHo MortAurus *Under Construction* (10/7/2012 21:50:09)

Make one for Chile Van...

This is exactly how it is. This also means that the midwest USA is a wilderness unfit for travel however, as it's the only way for them to be so isolated given their location.

If you mind. I shall be using this for my Prologue. Thanks. :D

National language be Apesh, as the Bramanians were the ones who gave the name Bhagavana to the tallest mountain in the world.

That makes sense. I know this isn't too far off given the time but...Robot cowboys? XD
