Thorn assault
Infenral Spirit.


Does guns count also ? Like changing one of your guns into Spreadfire!!!

One Winged Angel1357, those are special abilities and having a non Omega weapon being able to be equipped with the Omega weapon special abilities takes away the uniqueness of that weapon.

The specials of the weapons are what make the weapons unique, different, and rare. Allowing any weapon to be equipped with the same special abilities takes away the differing aspects of that weapon. Like the Stun Gun sets, they allow every sidearm to stun, then they need to rename it as Cannon or Blaster and re-categorize from rare to non-rare.

Having a basic club, staff, or claws with the same special abilities as the promo weapons is just not right and players will think why should we buy varium when I could just equip the weapon with the same special ability as the promo/Varium weapon with credits?

In the photo Titan mention "skill cores" not special abilities was that a typo? That is why the staff needs to elaborate.

It appears nothing will be done to the skill trees or skills and because of that they will be even bigger balance issues in Omega.

Eliminating weapons requirements is a start but what about the formulas?

How long will we have to what to see the changes made to the skills or the new classes get different new skills to set them apart from each other and the previous classes?

I'm not an avid ED player anymore but from what I'm seeing, EpicDuel has really turned themselves around into an even greater game!

P.S, does anyone know if upgrades will cost varium or credits or maybe even both[8|]?

EDIT: Also, will current NPCs be changed to fit this new system? Boss battles will be about 1.2 times harder if not(a hyperbole of course).

Stats are also getting changed, every single one of them so since there's less stat points total, players will also deal less total damage. As said by Goony:

Ah , there goes my 140 HP TM build . But i just hope Bosses get changed as well ( imagine Hank dealing 20+ against people with very low HP ) .

I remember talking with Illuminator about lowering the health and energy you got. I assumed it got the boot because of how much would need revamped to make it possible but I guess with Omega being huge already it's a perfect addition.

1 HP/point is no big deal, but 1 EP/point makes a huge difference. Nobody will afford 90+ energy pools anymore, and Atom Smasher will become effective again, and Reroute will become less effective. Caster mages will go down too.

i actually would never mind the delay because I will be just enoying what I can. Plus, I don't play as much anymore so ED won't feel so old for me.

Anyways, if the Dark Yeti is coming with the Omega Obliterator, I might just go back to Cyber Hunter and revive that CyberUnion thing I had that one time.

Well with reduced increase of of hp/ep ..... reroute will have less advantage [:@] .... and cheap EMP and Atom Smash will hurt like hell .... entire Tech Mage will be effected

With less HP .... no of rounds will decrease ... thus the class who will attack most in early 3 rounds might win ... BM will love this update

You are thinking of only one aspect of the change. As game developers, they know to tweak the numbers to keep something from becoming OP.

I remember when they did stuff like introducing OP gamma bot and then finally de-buffing it after 8 months if i m nt wrong

Yes one-off changes. You do realise they are working on Omega non-stop for weeks now and pushed it back? Don't compare ONE change to whole game overhaul which changes how stats work, changes to some skills, changes to enhancements, changes to all the items. If they are taking care of everything, they wouldn't be stupid to leave something like that out.

Common sense hurts nowadays. <.<

its just hope reroute functions well in omega [&:]

and the other side is that i hope they do change their experimental introductions if it disturbs the balance (unlike what they did before)

Balance was never achieved in EpicDuel, and it will never be, but that's not the main problem.

The main problem are people obsessed with winning every single fight, who are afraid to experiment, to have fun, to sincerely congratulate the one who beats them.

I stopped taking overall class balance in EpicDuel too seriously, because I realized how we players are extremely far from the reality, although every single one of us is convinced he knows best what is best for the game. That is vanity.

Yes and the massive lag the tesla armor caused can be related to the massive dump titian took afterwards :D

glad to know my enemies will have less HP to take down with a strength build.

Heres my thoughts on it

in my idea, no changes or revamp to stats or reducing stats is required. (less work for them to do)
