Some weapons may activate certain special effects depending on a particular trigger. I've divided weapon specials into 4 types in this guide: 1) On-Hit Specials: Weapon specials that have a chance to activate a special effect every time one of your attacks connect. Example: Blinding Light of Destiny 2) Attack Button Specials: Specials that have a chance to activate a special effect when you click on the basic Attack button. Example: Necrotic Sword of Doom 3) Weapon Click Specials: Weapons whose special effects are activated by clicking on the weapon (or a specific part of the weapon). Examples: Doomed Dragon Amulet Scythe of Elementals 4) Racials: Weapon specials which activate against enemies of a specific race. Although this is technically a special case of on-hit weapon specials, they're relevant enough to be placed in its own category. Example: Sun God Scythe
