Anyone else notice the 3 items in the cave haven't been working for a while?

Also whats the plan for banks since a lot of rare stuff is coming in a month or two I need a place to store them so my inventory isn't full?

I noticed that the fireplaces are always on, but no boss spawns. Maybe he's glitched out of the area? I'm not sure, because no one was there when I joined it.

Bank might be introduced when they figure out a secondary in-game currency (like Soul Gems and ACs), since they won't have memberships.

I believe the plan is to wipe our character's inventories/gold/stats when we enter Beta in order to allow everyone to start on equal footing once the game is available to everyone. Items you obtain now could be renamed afterwards and the way you obtain them could be very different as well. Chances are by the time Alpha Knight rewards are sent out, some sort of extended storing will be possible whether it be increased inventory slots, a bank, or the Alpha Knight gear being linked to a badge/account shop like some gear is in AQW.

They have those green gems for in game currency currently just haven't added them in game yet.


Well I hope its before beta cause they have about 7 or 8 classes in the works and the inventory is only 20 slots.

Would be good if classes don't be treated as items. In DF some of the classes you can use are equipped by talking with certain npcs after doing their requirements. Also in DF there is armor closet house item that allows you to change your class so something similar could be done in AQ3D.

Does AQ work similar to that with classes haven't played in a long time but its like races and classes are separate and both give stat increases or decreases.

I would like physical changes based off classes or races though such as becoming a lycan gives me wolf features and stat changes.

In AQ, classes are "armor". Some armor have abilities, classes, have full skill trees you train through class NPCs. And classes do change defense stats and elemental resistances among other things.

I doubt there will be any actual player model changing classes or armor in AQ3D. Just too many things that would need to be affected. Races could probably just apply different, subtle stat changes, but nothing too major.

Ideally, classes in AQ3D should just be something you select as your skills and stats, instead of an actual item you equip like it is now and with most AE games. Will save up a lot of inventory space in the long run.

I agree with that cause before I was a member and didn't know about the bank I had to decide which classes I really wanted and dropped those I didn't, only to retrain them later.

An interesting idea would be to have both a NPC you can talk to to equip, and an item that lets you equip the class at any time and place. This item could be sold for special currency, so as to let people who support the game have something extra.

Cysero confirmed that Alpha pirate will be a founder reward and that several differnet founder packages will be released for differnet prices.

So we will have something similar to the ACs packages of AQW. Another rare amor, but as long they don't go crazy with rare stuff like in AQW the game will be fine.

I don't exactly like Alpha Pirate being one of the armors being offered with the AQ3D Founder packages. I feel like they could use sets new and unique to AQ3D. It's like, "Here's a highly desired, very rare armor that only a tiny fraction could get 7 years ago".

I'd rather it be available for all AQ3D Alpha testers and something new and unique be offered as an incentive it the AQ3D Founders packages.

Well, the alpha knight set was what we all got, and as you know the reason the didn't go with something unique is because there are those people who came just a second too late to get it in aqw and those people, of course, would die for a second chance. So basically everybody got the 'unique thing' (the armor) but the founder package item was more of a nostalgic bonus for AE, it seems.

Okay, so for me the steam launch was bad. You see on the web browser I could run Graphics at 4 and have no issues. Now it's on Steam I can't run it on 1 without lag.

Oh btw I CAN run it on 1 without lag it seems. Turns out I had not applied it and was still on 2. (facepalms) Runs good on 1 actualy, but no higher.

From what I've seen so far, people are 50/50 about the Steam launch. It's working for some, and not working for others.

Hopefully they can iron out all the bugs so that everyone can enjoy the game.

As for me, I've been enjoying it. Game runs fantastic for me on Steam.

I can't say I have ever played this on any browser as of yet, but it runs smoothly regardless of whichever graphic quality and resolution I chose on Steam.

The only qualm I have is that aggressive monsters are a bit of a problem when you are doing quests or simply levelling up.

^I agree! The dreaded Doomwood Tower has this issue to the highest degree! If you're trying to kill General Gathmor, you end up literally having to run for your life all the way to him! Then hoping onto a ledge on the bridge to avoid damage. I mean its doable... Its just very unnerving to have to do that process every time. It made the Alpha Knight helm quest pretty irritating. Like I said though... Its highly doable regardless. Monster health resetting when one player accidentally leads them away is also a drag... I know that was likely due to players being able to take advantage of even bosses by running around them before it was patched. Pretty harsh though! One players messes up. We all pay for it by having to whittle down General Gathmor's health again. Keep in mind I'm being constructive here! Not complaining! The game isn't even technically done yet. So we just test and wait.[;)]
