Primate Murder -> RE: Returning Beast Warrior Seeking Advice (6/7/2020 2:36:55)

Welcome back! As a guardian, you get 1 free GGB each month, and if you buy a Museum for your estate, you get another one (I'd suggest waiting for the Black Friday discount). You can also buy them in bulk (10 GGBs for 2k tokens) or upgrade 25 Commons into a Rare, and 10 Rares into a UR via Account Management. Weapons Wind is probably the best no-drop element, as the best wind weapon is premium and nothing else particularly stands out. You might also want to align your Awe special to PWD for a 4% chance of instantly killing the monster. Blazing Bloodzerker sword (from Rare GGBs) is pretty much indisputed as the best fire weapon for FO builds, as it pays a small hp cost to deal +20% damage. Beastwarriors also have the option of Pzycho Sabres, which compress a fire guest and a combination attack that uses your armor lean. The updated Kindred sword has a chargable autohit, making it a very nice utility option. Beastwarriors also get a very nice weapon in Pike Pike, which deals +25% damage and uses Cha in place of Luck for stats. MagnaBlade is the only remaining weapon in the game that gives you +30% damage (at the expense of taking +25/1.4% damage). Terra Bloodzerker sword is an earth clone of the Blazing one. There's also the recently revamped Troll Club, which deals even more damage, but at the expense of your accuracy. If you're short on spell slots, Nightbane's Clawclub compresses an earth guest that can be toggled to heal based on damage dealt. Royal Voidrender toggles to deal harm damage. Lumenomancer's Bladein your storage is one of the strongest standalone light weapons in the game, dealing +20% damage for a small hp cost. Another weapon in your storage, the Gauntlet of Xano, can be clicked on for a 2x damage weapon skill - great synergy with Werewolf's Beast Form or Blodzerkers armors' toggles. If you get enough tokens, Terror Eater's skill has great synergy with Werewolf's qc Fear infliction. Until then, Reaver of Nulgath uses Cha in place of Luck for stats. Armors Old standard armors, such as Taladosian, Moglord Tortress, Horo Show and WKZ (tokens) have the strongest non-stackable skills in the game. Your Werewolf Transformation no-drop should cover your earth armor (and light, if you don't have the tokens for WKZ). As the wind doesn't really have any outstanding non-premium armors, it might also be a good idea to grab Rage Beast (werewolf elemental variant). If you have a spare UR, Blazing Bloodzerker pays a small hp cost to deal +20% damage and has a toggle that locks your attacks to 2x armor element damage (great synergy with weapon skills like Eat Fear, Gauntlet of Xano or even Pzycho Sabre). If not, Torontosaurus Rex has the strongest fire skill available (though for 2x the sp cost). Angel of Souls has a weapon-based darkness skill which costs hp (instead of sp), making it easily spammable. I should also mention the revamped Kindred armor, which can stack charges to unleash an up to 6x damage skill that follows your weapon element and can be boosted by CIT. The really broken part comes from the fact that the charges carry over between battles - meaning you can spend 5 minutes with Combat Trainer, then unleash a barrage of Kindred Strikes to break nearly any boss in the game. Shields Daylight Savings isn't MC'd, so it looses 3 MRM to pay for the compression. A better option would be Cerberus Ward, which compresses fire and darkness elements. Kindred shield charges up a qc sp heal. Alternatively, Celtic Wheel has an Int drive, giving you the mp for a single cast of Moonwalker's Grace. As a beastmaster, the best ice shield for you would be Pies with its Cha drive. Sol shield gives you a slight damage reduction based on your Cha. Taladosian still works, though at top level you may want to replace it with Umazen Aspis. Scarab Shell has a toggle to lower monster MRM, which would increase the accuracy of all attacks by you, your pet andyour guest. Spells Most of your spell slots would be covered by guest summons, but there are a few other options you may want to take a look at: - Moonwalker's Grace is a qc Dex booster. Great for use during the Purple Rain loop. - Edoc Imanok gives you a qc MRM boost, increasing your blocking for 2 turns. Again, great Purple Rain synergy. - Warmaster's Burst gives you a wind nuke, paying an hp cost to deal +50% damage. - Runic Binding deals harm damage to the monster, boosts your damage and inflicts omni-elemental EleVuln (which increases not just your damage, but also that of your pets and guests). Now, in regards to the guests: - Your fire guest should be covered either by your misc or your weapon. - Skeeter is only exceptional in having an hp upkeep, conserving sp for your skills. - Nezujimbo can inflict Freeze, which has great synergy with both Frost Effigy and whatever fire nuke you chose. - The best earth guest for you would be Sugar Gobbler (inflicts petrify; synergy with Fu Dog and wind nukes), but you'll have to wait until Mogloween to get it. Until then, you can either use the guest from Nightbane Clawclub, Werewolf armor, or get Twilly as a healing guest option. - Mogsterio and Grimlord are both exceptional guests, dealing 2x damage for an hp cost. - All other guest elements can be covered by Essence of Carnage, a Cha-based guest that boosts the damage of your melee and ranged weapons as well as giving you a harm element Backlash. Pets Flame Bot deals +50% damage for an sp cost, though it's a UR, If you don't have a spare one, Underwyrmling is the only pet in the game that can be toggled to harm monster sp. Aqua Bot is the water clone of the Flame Bot. Kindred pet can be toggled to gather charges for your Kindred sword/armor/shield. Fujin pet inflicts DefLoss, increasing the accuracy of all your (andyour guest's) attacks. Frost Effigy can be toggled to inflict Freeze and has a Freeze potency, increasing Nezujimbo's chances of inflicting Freeze as well. Fu Dog is similar to Frost Effigy, toggling to inflict petrification and having petrification potency (great Sugar Gobbler synergy), but it's a UR. Woolzard toggles between inflicting EleVuln (increasing the damage of all your attacks) and inflicting Sleep, whilealso having a toggle to greatly boost the effects for an sp cost - but it only comes back in about three months or so. Until you can get one of them, Morningstar pet toggles to randomly inflict DefLoss or EleVuln. When Grenwog comes back, you'll want to replace your PikaZard with Mutant Egg for a slightly higher paralysis chance and a damage resistance toggle. Lepre-Chan is a Cha-based light booster, but it only comes back at Blarney. Until then, you might as well keep the Godmother to have a healing pet. If you like your werewolf armor's Bleed attack, Scarab may also be a nice option. Model 294 inflicts EleVuln. Miscs Your first priority is Essence Orb, which allows qc conversion of hp into sp, fueling your sp skills. Resistance Miscs are not really meta anymore - monsters tend to die long before they make any discernable difference - but if you like having a safety net, Cyclops' Eye covers all elements. Shadowfeeder Pendant is one of the best meta enablers in the game, giving you, your pet and guest qc celerity (which is free, if used in the Purple Rain loop). Love Potion (qc control) is also incredibly good for meta, but it only comes back on Snugglefest. Goggernaut Helm is a cheap misc that boosts the accuracy of every attack on the field, including your pets and guests. Murderator Gauntlet gives Str, Cha and a chance to control the monster. Grakma Warhorn summons a guest that can be toggled to inflict EleVuln, increasing the damage of all your attacks. Frostgale's Remorse gives you ice/wind damage boost, extra Dex and paralysis potence. Bell Shell heals a bit of your hp based on damage dealt. The heal is less than CoRS', but it also doesn't reduce your damage, so it's an overall better choice for FO builds. Hope the info's useful and don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions!
