Ryu Draco -> Spellcaster Setup (3/30/2022 0:57:09)

So I'm trying to work out a build around the Spellcaster armor lean now that there are more options available. The simplest way seems to be a full INT/END/LUK build with damage boosting weapons to maximize chances to cast. My main questions are just what armors are available with this lean, and would an alternative stat setup be better for this idea?

It doesn't have complete elemental coverage

Fire: Scathing Dreamweaver (FD, but has a skill that changes it to Spellcaster; from Frostval 2020 Painting)
Water: Archmage Apprentice (from Today's Event -> Jr Squires of Order)
Wind: Necromancer Cavalry (UR GGB)
Ice: Necromancer Cavalry (UR GGB)
Light: Angelic Robes (from Frostval 2014 Painting)
Darkness: Necromancer Class (Obsidia's Lair), or Brilhado Necromancer Robes (from Past Uravelled)

There are no options for Earth and Energy but
Brilhado Necromancer Robes has 44% to Earth (Level 150 version)
Angelic Robes has 50% to Energy (Level 145 version)

I figured that there wouldn't be full coverage, and I could fill the gaps with FD armor until then. I unfortunately missed the Angelic Robes with that account, so unless there is a way to get Paintings from previous years I have Energy and Light to worry about/use my no-drop, I can probably just fake Earth with the Brilhado for now.

Frostval paintings from 2014 onward (so the year with Angelic Robes) were released last Frostval and I strongly believe there will be paintings for all the years to come from now on, so it should become obtainable again that time of the year.

Ah, I didn't realize they had changed that. I'll have to keep an eye out for it.

You don't need elemental coverage. Necromancer by itself can beat most monsters regardless of its element. It has some damage decreasers to non-darkness elements built-in and other ones if you have certain statuses inflicted on the monster.

In addition, it has a grasp essence-> Rend Mana that will give you ele shield. If you can get your hands on some multiple sources of ele shield, too, that will help immensely.

Might go with Geocastellum Robes for Earth just for the ele shield quick cast.
