I know I already gave some of my thoughts on the matter over on Discord, but I think it's still better to have them up here for easier accessibility if anything. Excepting stuff that was already somewhat addressed of course. While the game has drifted away from big weaknesses, particularly on bosses, it's been somewhat consistent (Inconsistently so, though) that some quest have fairly big enemies (Wrath of Xan is a very lengthy quest with big booties, and now both of the dungeon quests here) that expect you to have weapons that hit their weakness. While the issue might not be so bad as to make the quests overly difficult, I think it's still something to consider. In particular, the generic elements tend to crop up in a lot of quests, and it might not be a bad idea to give the classes access to basic weapons for those elements as needed. While something like actual exploration would be preferred, the various options are either horrendously bloated loot pools, or possible DA-exclusive. While I of course support the line of thinking that NDA is merely a very extended demo, I think it's a bit inadvisable to have such a high focus to it early on. For example, the weapons of Eye-Rule are a pretty good solution to your Water needs. DA-only, no can do. On the other hand, something like the Falconreach weapons are great, though not currently relevant. Other wars and the like could patch some of these issues up. Ice weapon access from the Ice Dragon war, which should have occurred prior to Xan could help here for Mt. Hot. Though it'd be probably more realistic to make use of Falconreach's various shopkeepers to give players access to the basic elements.
