This is my First tut and it's extremely basic, so please bare with me. Also, there is a part of the tut I forgot. To use the brush go to File: Dialogs: Brushes: And click the refrsh button.

I just made myself a scanline brush. =D I'm not able to save in gbr tho, my PS isn't associative with it. =/

How do you make it transparet? like so colors can be used?

@Ion- Sorry, I don't know how to save it as a color brush. I believe Vector bush is .vbr though. You could try that.

Make really cool vector brush, go to save as .gbr then it says;
This image must be greyscale or something like that.

 I Tried it out,but couldn't save it.

But with some fumbling, i found ab easier way....


All it is, is:

File ; Dialogues ; Brushes ; New Brush.

You should get a screen like This....

I Played around a little, and made this brush.

You can do that but it you can't make some great brushes with it. And you should move it to (Username)<.gimp-2.4<brushes

For a color brush, just change the brush mode to Greyscale before saving.

Image >> Mode >> Greyscale.
