The Rating Center got approved! I think someone posted a link in the rating center thread, we should add it to the amphitheatre and FAQ :)

Done! Also added the link to level tracking to the front post. Seeing as this is also a general announcements thread, i'd like to advertise my story, Paxia - A study, which can be found in the writing academy - have a look! I've only got round to Glacius so far in the story, and Nautica will sadly be last, but thats because i'm saving the best for last!

Also, a general plea for Nauticans to get involved in the Nautican Suggestion Thread - Fishtank and I have done a lot of work on this, and now pretty much all we need is someone to look through what we've done, and comment (are the monsters too hard/easy? Is there too much dialogue in the Quest? What do you think of the rewards?). More urgently though, we need artists!!! That means you Lkeas, but also anyone else who thinks they could do a half-decent job of editing a screenshot from the game (the appropraite links will be in the Suggestion thread)

Just a quick note to about the sages thread.

I have the permission of it's original creator to use his idea here in Nautica so I will probably make the thread very soon.
Since I still have no idea what to put for a name, I am still open to any suggestions

How about Library? That's very sagely, and also would be a good place to be gathering words of wisdom! Other alternatives in a similar vein are Reliquary, or Compendium.


EDIT: Front post update about coming event. Please tell me if you disagree with what i've said, and also we will need a volunteer to run the thread about our organisation for the event *looks to birdy*

Well what we need will be a short and sucint description of the event, and the options open to us. As soon as we decide what position we are taking on that event, you will need to post that in large letters. If there's more than one thing we're doing (perhaps repairing the base and attacking an enemy), then we can set up rotas for who does what, if we want.

Have I missed anything obvious there?

Ok, looking good so far. I'd change 'created by me' to just 'created', giving it more of a communal feel. Couple of spelling errors too. Apart from that, well done for getting the War Counters, they look really good - of course, if they don't show info relevant to this event, we'll need to chuck them, but definitely good for now. I'll link up on the front post tommorow.

Hi all, just dropping in to show i'm still alive (as I think people might think it unusual if I don't bombard Nautica with posts daily). Haven't had long on today, so only have read all the new Nautican and Paxian posts, just to show willing...

Well fought in that event, we have something there to be proud of

I have been....

Working on our BRAND NEW NAUTICAN PRIVATE FORUM!!!!! WHEEEEE!

It takes a while to make a forum, you have to test everything....

Anyway, I'm the Admin, so if you need anything contact me via PM (yes my PMs are enabled on our private forums.)

PM me with a link to your character in Nautica and I will add you to the "members of Nautica group", this group has special access to a private area, that you can't even see without being in this group.

Let's wait for people who own their threads here to repost them if need be.

I hope I'm not missing anything important.....
