If the base/random have the *1.5 multiplier built in, the results would be as you have calculated:

The difference between this and yours is just goggles, though (rounding-related consequences).

If it does "learn", then the Cheezard just does Attack#1 or Attack #2 for this round, and for the rest of the fight. Otherwise, the Cheezard does the daze attack again. Let's say that it doesn't learn, and that the attack connects again.
  • On the next turn, the Cheezard has a 20% chance of "learning" (since there were a total of two attempted Dazes). Let's say that it doesn't learn, and the attack connects again.
  • On the next turn, the Cheezard has a 30% chance of "learning" (since there were a total of three attempted Dazes). Let's say that it doesn't learn, and the attack misses this time.
  • On the next turn, the Cheezard has a 30% chance of "learning" (it's not 40%, since you didn't attempt to daze the monster last turn). And so on.
