I think I'll go wit hthe second build since I like having alot of HP and dealing high damage at the same time.

and there are darkness and ice weapons both are from the intro shop.

The stat trainer has me confused. How does Strength and Dexterity affect range damage?

 Ranged Type
BtH: Dex/16 + Dex/16 + Luck/20
Damage: Dex/16 + Str/16

in other words dexterity is the main stat as it determines the bulk of your bth and half of your damage. the other half comes from str.
