as far i think "this update of new look was not at all needed "

they juzz wasted time for nothing *dev's should more thought of making things that r badly needed now .

example :a button for juggs.

some great new feature. *as promised lyk bank , tornoment features etc.

n plus the new look would hve been better if it was released at the time of *delta release * it would hve made more sense doing at that time.

after 2 month of delta over "wats the use of new look "now" ??

i dont disslike or smthing its only that "it was not very important at this time"

On the first post, I included a photo of the button style that has been giving me eye issues. You will notice during retraining mode, the button style also has a green one. The green one seems to offset the illusion of the contrast, and hopefully the white to black ones will have some type of tint added on.

I do hope this will be corrected. Players who have noticed it have expressed their views, also some might be immune to the effects and others will gradually start feeling discomfort.

As for now, I am unable to log in for the eye strain when viewing those buttons, and I will wait till they are corrected.

Thank you for telling me, yesterday when the Draconic Weapons were intoduced, I bought one, and retrainined (10:46 PM-10:57 PM). Let me say that it wasn;t a great experience.

I havent red all posts but i actually have light sensitive eyes and i think
that the new buttons are fine and that they look great. Most monitor
screens are adjusted much to bright so I think there is the problem.
There could also be a vitamine health problem when your eyes got
hurt by just those buttons. Stop drinking those coffees and beers ;)
And its not a joke but alcohol does increase light sensitiveness. ^^
This white forum background is stressing my eyes much more than
anything when sitting in the dark. So the buttons are no problem for me.

You are correct that caffeine and alcohol contribute to many health issues including with the eyes. And also with Monitors, that could also be the issue.

For me, I don't consume neither, and my monitor is finely tuned. I used the example of prior to current, and there is an issue on how the button is either designed and/or, how when the mouse goes over it; the buttons brightens almost like a car's front lights.

My two cents -

A fine idea, except I do believe simply adjusting your monitor's brightness while playing EpicDuel really would suffice, as not everyone currently finds the shades, or brightness of the said buttons problematic for the eyes. I should also note that the same colors that are depicted in this thread can also be reflected in a duelist's choice of color in armor, so "repairing" this issue would take extensive changes in the game; a simple swap of button coloring wouldn't do.

All in all, I'm a man of simple taste, and I don't know about anyone else, but it takes around (literally) 10 seconds to change the brightness of my monitor. For those who actually have this issue, it should be fairly simple to do likewise. Eventually, when Titan finally gets through the barrage of the more prioritized issues, this very well may be placed into serious consideration, but for now, it's probably best to take matters into our own hands.

Only Eventus style post with Eventus style personality. :)

All that I do ask that the developers do look into this.

I have tried to express different analogies on how the eyes respond to the new buttons. If the button were in normal play, the difference would not have been seen or even cause any issue, but when the screens goes into a shadowed or blackened mode (stat screen, log out, retraining), the buttons, when highlighted, they become the focus of attention for the eyes due to the brightness/design. With the larger buttons, as one hovers the mouse over it, that highlights in bright white it does add eye strain. I also feel, over time, the younger eyes will start feeling weariness especially after long hours of playing.

I have readjusted my screen to compensate the difference of those select screens, but the issue still remains. By adding some tint to compensate the blackening and the highlight, it will be better in the long run for players who do invest many hours daily in this game, and individuals who are sensitive to those types of contrasts.

Sadly, I will have to limit my play till it is adjusted. To adjust my monitor to fully compensate a few screens against my whole online experience is something not to my liking. I will remain patient.

I do appreciate everyone's response, and I do apologize if I had been too critical on this matter to any response.
