is that it Lord Nub? you picked apart a post I never wanted to post in the first place, because i was too smashed to do it justice. I just couldn't get my head around writing out tons of scenarios last night, I will have another crack at it today if I get the time, either way the idea of having %0 chance to block is dumb and you even pointed out how unlikely it is to even get them to 0% so why bother suggesting it in the first place? it just seems like too many players are mad because their build doesn't perform the way they think it should every fight, and they don't completely steamroller the undergeared lowbies in 2 turns or something. I know realism should always take back seat to gameplay, but in this case it just seems ridiculous that some smoke could make you completely unable to move. a soldier in the middle of a smoke grenade could still move in any direction, avoiding an incoming attack. wouldn't changing block to parry and having it similar to deflection be a better idea? or keeping block, and having a chance for the block to become a parry instead. or having parry when your dex is similar to your enemies, and block when the gap is considerably larger. think theirs a couple of good ideas, without pushing dex builds on everyone.
