And THAT is why we should take a break from increasing player levels and the extra time will be evenly divided upon balancing and new content.

is that it Lord Nub?

you picked apart a post I never wanted to post in the first place, because i was too smashed to do it justice. I just couldn't get my head around writing out
tons of scenarios last night, I will have another crack at it today if I get the time, either way the idea of having %0 chance to block is dumb and you even
pointed out how unlikely it is to even get them to 0% so why bother suggesting it in the first place? it just seems like too many players are mad because
their build doesn't perform the way they think it should every fight, and they don't completely steamroller the undergeared lowbies in 2 turns or something.

I know realism should always take back seat to gameplay, but in this case it just seems ridiculous that some smoke could make you completely unable to
move. a soldier in the middle of a smoke grenade could still move in any direction, avoiding an incoming attack. wouldn't changing block to parry and having
it similar to deflection be a better idea? or keeping block, and having a chance for the block to become a parry instead. or having parry when your dex is
similar to your enemies, and block when the gap is considerably larger. think theirs a couple of good ideas, without pushing dex builds on everyone.

^ Since your talking realism allow me to inform you there is a difference between block and dodge.

Blocking doesn't mean anyone moved from their original position.

Also, it is unlikely in even fights but 0% means players have more control over the outcomes of matches.

Spam builds would leave themselves wide open in many areas and their opponents would know exactly what to counter and what the percentage is involved.

15 dex vs 120 dex should not be a 4% chance to block. If you don't have the points or skills to improve dexterity you should not have the benefits of it.

yeah but how does being more dextrous than your opponent mean they cannot stop any melee offensive? they are not paraplegics.

and besides "being blocked when I shouldn't be" what other reasons have you got for removing the minimum block chance really?
I understand why you want more control over the fight, but I think a line has to be drawn, would be a pretty dull game if certain
builds almost always beat certain other builds due to their being very little leeway for much else. you change the minimum chance
to block, then people start complaining about min chance to deflect or be crit. what justification is there for changing one major
aspect like block chance and then leaving those others?

I will always be against any change which heavily favours a few classes over the rest.

^ What? I said everything should have a minimum chance of 0% should they have the points required.

are you Goldslayer1 ^^ sorry, just felt like I was going in circles with the same guy

you don't wanna get blocked by someone who you feel has no right to block you? [or deflected, crit, w/e]

can you just confirm that's the ONLY reasoning behind the change and can you post some of the other positives about the change
and how it would effect each class. it doesn't seem like you have given it any consideration beyond that reason above ^^

I got nothing against changing my mind if you can convince me it wouldn't completely wreck the game.

@shadow jester,

Last post was a response to your request, so you had it coming.

@Psibertus,

Every post of yours involves insults and trolling. You come back with nothing to back any claims whatsoever except putting words into my mouth and covering up the fact you have been wrong about everything you have posted by changing the subject without response to facts proving your statements to be wrong.

I don't feel the need to continue the conversation with you but feel free to discuss it further with others.

@Below,

You quite clearly fail to understand it's attitudes such as yours that is the problem with the forums. Not a very productive way to present yourself if your looking for a discussion.

ducked as expected ^^

I asked YOU to clarify it, you won't. I posted some suggestions which you completely ignored.
if you wanna hide behind the fact I insulted you that is ok, feel free to report me for flaming and/or trolling.
