The one issue I would have to say is if F2P use the bot with smokescreen. Physical damage + lowered dexterity (bonus to hit + bonus damage). I think this would serve tactical players the most. It would seem as if tanks keep getting stronger.

It's a little sad...cuz now I feel like abandoning the character that I spent most of my money on ;w;
My nonvarium characters are literally just as good and don't have a horrible record from being limited to the instant +1 loss mode (1v1)
Though now I admit nonvariums are getting a bit more brave, so not every time I play I run into a cap level CH or TLM with all of the latest varium gear.

that has to be a good thing right ^^ going through the motions against a few hundred cyber hunters each week does ruin the fun of the game.

If I was a tactical F2P mercenary, and I needed an energy Primary with good stats (tech is favourable)... what would you say would be the best Primary for a focus tank? Mjolnir?

@Void

Probably Energy Steering Device from Exile Soldier, Old Fortune City.

Regardless of whether the bot is OP or not, it needs a price change.

I mean, 14000 credits for a Varium-level bot is seriously not good. If it was something like 40k, I wouldn't mind at all.

Simply because it would actually take some effort.

I would personally go for one of the hero's heart weapons.
I learned that the broadsword has the exact same modifiers as Mjolnir.
But Yeah, Mjolnir is good for stats, but has poor damage.

It isn't OP. If you lose to a non-var who has rusty. That's on you. I haven't lost to a non-var who has it. Even if i did i wouldn't really care. This is game is for fun. being kille dby variums all the time isn't fun. You try it. See how it feels.

If one views the amount of players being drawn to the game, that is the major plus. Many are excited about the new drops, and players can compete better with full varium players.

I am happy with the release. It is such a fun joy about hearing players communicate about drops, and even getting the new bots.

Let the game progress and see how bots evolve as well.

The game is fun when people, as a community, are enjoying the experience.

Agreed with GoldFish and Wraith.

If the bot had a higher price it'd be fine. However, if you lose to an opponent who has the bot, that's your problem. If you're varium, you should be able to beat them.

@Depressed Void

If you dont care Primary dmg Mjolnir is good, if you also want +34 dmg, use Energy Steering Device

I would say that non-variums nowadays have a better chance of winning because to be honest, the varium thing is far being abused. The varium should be used as an incentive to be a better player, but not to be the boss of the game.

As the game strays from pay for advantage to pay for features, everyone's experience will be of positiveness.

One has to understand the long-term path for this game. Some will have to be patient and understand the extreme advantage of the past varium influence did not help this game.

The problem is not that they sometimes can defeat varium players now (which I still doubt they can becuase of the bot, it just make the battles longer, imo.) It is how some players have paid for the bot while now someone gets it every minute. Making it more expensive + a lower drop rate would fix it....

You guys are so selfish..I have varium, and have bought and rebought it 3 times. What's the point of a game if not to have fun? Do you guys want to only play against super weak people or something?

Murr...It isn't OP'd at all really...it's just...
the difference in effectiveness is the nonvarium version has -2 damage, okay...that sounds fair...
Now we look at the prices. Rusted bot is 14,000, whereas the Assault bot is 12500
1500credits=1250 varium?
Isn't that kinda like a mean joke on the people that bought the assault bot?

No it isn't. You vars still have better primary,sidearm,aux, and armor. And you guys can still fully enhance all of your items! We can't! We don't even have lvl 34 aux yet. That's all we need IMO and we are good. That and a slash to enhancement prices so we can enhance aswell and then we are good. A slash to var enhance prices would be good aswell.

Right now, if a NonVarium and a Varium have a 50/50 win chance, I would say there is no incentive to be a better player.

My record haz dropped 1%.

@sleddy: No I want it so that Varium has an advantage, and that I don't want to be ripped off...

You say you bought Varium 3 times. Many people here have invested $500+ up to $10k+ on this game...and got ripped off. (Yes, Narcissus Bugs El Bunny said that)

^Indeed the enhancement prices really need to get lowered. Maybe 50 varium and 5000 credits for each enhancement slot. So 10 enhancements should be 500 varium, or 50000 credits. But that discussion dosent belong here :P

IsaiahthMage i will agree with all that except one thing when it comes to enhancement we all have it hard like really is 10 dollar to fully enhance one weapon which is the biggest scam i see in a game the fact that there is even varuim option of is stupid

I happen to agree somewhat with Nikzat. Perhaps a 70% debuff rather than an 80% would be more reasonable and fair?
